Rubik’s Cube, 3x3 Magnetic Speed Cube

I’ve tried several 3x3 cubes over the years, and this one stands out for both its smooth turning and magnetic feel. The factory tension was nearly perfect out of the box, with no need for lubrication unless you’re really tuning for competition. What I love most: Stickerless design means no peeling or fading over time. Magnets help align each move, making it easier to solve faster and more accurately. The cube is lightweight and comfortable to hold, with rounded edges that don’t catch or pinch. Whether you’re just learning algorithms or already sub-20 seconds, this cube won’t hold you back. Great build quality at a fair price. Highly recommend!

The timer is great and is very ergonomic. The build is sturdy. It works responsivly and quickly. The timer is a little sensitive for my preference but the timer and mat is a great value especially for only 19$ on discount. The inspection mode is a game changer to get you prepared for competitions. The light is bright and visible for easy starts. The simple and black design is great and looks sleek. The mat that comes with the timer has clips and also grips onto the table well. There is also a port on the bottom for connecting a display. The reset buttons are on the side to prevent accidental resets. For anybody curious, the bottom port is a 2.5mm headphone style jack that requires a microphone compatible cord.

Bigger than a normal 2x2 and spins smoothly! Honestly an amazing 2x2, wouldve been top tier if it had magnets. Still a great buy.

It's smooth gliding and good quality. I did not like the colors first, because some colors were little similar to each other compared to normal colored cubes.

Overall, it’s a well made, sturdy product. However, describing this as a speed cube is hyperbole. Realistically, this product is more of a ‘slightly faster than before cube’ because its internal mechanism is a bit sticky. The real speed cubes from other manufacturers are much faster and smoother in movement. Nevertheless, this cube will survive a lot of use and abuse, which means it is good for people who are learning.

I don’t know why this product is getting anything less than a 4 star review. Unless some lemons make it passed quality control? I received mine today and did not have to adjust the tension at all. I haven’t tried any other speed cubes but I was mixing and solving the puzzle as fast as I could and I couldn’t get it to break. Of course I wasn’t dropping or throwing it or forcing it to turn vertically when horizontally the corners aren’t aligned (when it shouldn’t be able to turn). There is a such thing as being overly aggressive with something delicate like a plastic toy. Some people are buying this for their young child who proceeds to drop/throw or force it to turn wrong out of frustration, then claiming it broke in the first hour and leaving a bad review is really not good at all. Parents need to have the correct mindset. Toys can be broken when kids get frustrated or are overly aggressive with them. In short, the speed cube works well, does what it’s supposed to do and did not break while being used.

I decided to take it upon myself to learn how to solve a Rubik’s cube, and I’m sure glad I chose to learn on this one. The turns are easy enough for long cubing sessions, while the magnets ensure a snappy completion of each turn. You can get pretty fast with this cube as well, and it beats out the original Rubik’s cube by FAR. Colors are clear and distinct, and the sound is actually super satisfying. Very happy with this purchase as it wasn’t too expensive versus some of the competition out there, and is still the name brand product.
