Prince Original Art Rough Painting ~ I love Prince.. period.. so of course, I love to paint him! This is a rough, acrylic painting created on reclaimed wood. What is reclaimed wood????? Reclaimed wood is wood that had a previous purpose, that has been sanded down, restored and given new life! When using reclaimed material, perfect imperfections will be present. Natural knotting, grooves, nail holes, surface scratches, small holes etc... will be present within the wood, giving each piece COMPLETE authenticity, originality and character. This painting is on uneven boards measuring approx 20" x 16.25" A beautiful blend of over 20 different colors were used in this painting. Prince's hair has a combination of black acrylic and medium gel for a nice textured appearance. His third eye glasses have a rough, metallic gold rim with a galaxy inspired lenses. This art is sealed with poly-crylic for added luster and paint protection. A saw-tooth hanger has been installed for easy hanging, it will also look beautiful on any shelf, table or mantel.
