Beyond just money, he’s started using it as a "treasure chest" to store other small items he considers important, which adds another layer of fun and utility to the product.A Quick Note on Setup:The only minor drawback is that the piggy bank requires 3 AA batteries to operate, and they are not included in the box. It would have been much more convenient if the batteries were part of the basic package so we could use it right away. If you're buying this as a gift, I highly recommend picking up a pack of batteries beforehand to avoid any disappointment!Overall Impression:Despite the battery issue, we are very satisfied with this purchase. The quality is solid, the design is eye-catching for kids, and the functional features work exactly as described. My grandson loves his bank. He especially enjoys being able to change the code whenever he wants. It’s held up with this 5-year old carrying it around and opening it quite often, and changing the code all the time.It’s a good bank for the money and he’s had fun with it!

bought this piggy bank because my son just turned 5, and I’m starting to teach him the value of money. Since he loves Spiderman, I thought this would be perfect for him. My daughter, who is older, has had a similar one from a different brand for almost 3 years with no issues. Unfortunately, I bought this one on Amazon Prime Day (July 11), and it didn’t even last three days before the locking mechanism broke.The electronic system still works, but when you open the hinge, the latch that’s supposed to unlock the door doesn’t move, so you can’t actually open the piggy bank. Total fail — I just got a bad unit, and to make things worse, there’s no customer service available. I’d recommend staying away from this product and going with a different brand instead.It’s really disappointing because my son was so excited about it, and now I have to go buy him another one.
