I'm using it with the yard butler. The pellets come out as a course powder. Is that normal, will it still work?

They send a applicator with the pellets, they would like for you to apply the pellets directly to the gopher hole I'm sure it will work if the gophers eat the poison

Will this hurt fruit trees?

This thing does not work. I don’t have fruit trees so no idea if it will hurt.
