The fridge/freezer has been perfect for our trips when we need to take food with us. Often we use it for 3-5 day trips when we need to keep food fresh but I’ve even used it for month-long trips in the back seat of my truck. The 12v DC plug failed on me after a few months of ownership and a dozen or so trips but customer service shipped out a new cord with an updated plug and it’s working great again. The option to use it either as a single zone or dual zone with the removable divider has been great. We usually use it as a single compartment, whether that’s a fridge or freezer, but it’s great to be able to do both when we need it and the divider stores out of the way really nicely in the pocket of the optional cover. Overall, we’ve been very happy with this one and usually take it over the larger fridge we previously bought from a different company for 4 reasons: 1) the size is typically adequate for our needs, although sometimes we have containers that are just a bit too tall to fit with the lid closed. 2) the shape of the compartment is a normal rectangle, where many other fridges (including our larger one) have a bump in the bottom to make room for the compressor that makes arranging food difficult. 3) it’s QUIET. Holy smokes is it quiet. With the fridge in the back seat of my truck and the fridge full of food, it needed to run the compressor very infrequently and even sitting just a couple of feet from me, I would usually need to look at the lights to confirm it was still operational. 4) it’s incredibly efficient, especially with the insulating cover. I’ve powered it from an Anker C1000 for up to 5 days without recharging. This will vary based on how full the fridge is, how often you get into it, and the ambient temperature, but I’ve been incredibly pleased with the flexibility this has provided us.

ICECO is a good company that stands behind their products. I usually don’t leave product reviews but their customer service and support was so good I felt I had to highlight ICECO’s efforts. We own a few ICECO products, a JP40 Pro and VL60 Pro that my husband uses for overlanding trips. To save luggage space we also purchased a GO20 for family roadtrips and for taking frozen items home on grocery runs. We got the GO20 in March of 2024 which worked fine until mid-November when it started giving an E2 error code. We followed the troubling shooting guide according to the instructions and when that didn’t work we contacted ICECO through AMAZON. Long story short; their customer service was timely in their response, ICECO worked through trouble shooting the code with us, and when that failed ICECO sent us a replacement GO20. They even sent a free return label for the defective unit. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy refrigerator/freezers from ICECO since they stand behind their products.
