Draco Malfoy's Wand with Ollivander's Wand Box

When I was buying this, I thought it was going to be a decently cheap plastic typed wand such as the ones they sell at Universal Studios. But oh man was I wrong. This wand is very high quality. All the details are painted down to the smallest scratches. The steel core weights the wand and makes it feel like it’s made from genuine wood. It functions as a great desk piece and collectible, though keep this away from your kids, as the material may break or chip if dropped from a high enough height.

My wand came delivered exactly as advertised! The collectors box comes as a great and authentic way to store it! Some wands of this type that I have seen reviewed come with a blunt tip, mine was rounded, as shown in the advertisement photos. The wand is very sturdy and feels nice to hold; however, one must know that this is a prop meant for display and not a toy. It is made of resin and can chip if mishandled or dropped. I highly recommend this wand for any collector or fan of Harry Potter, it is after all the wand that defeated you-know-who!

Purchased as a gift for my 9 year old nephew and he was delighted. I think Harrt Potter fans of any age will love this. It came nicely packaged and has a decent weight to it. It doesn't feel cheap but it's not too heavy to play with.

the wand is solid and looks good the price is actually pretty good only a little bit more than the other wands I have bought the wand is plane but still very nice and by far the most comfortable to hold. The book is nice and provides protection. The color isn't my faviourt but its still very nice.

This is a great wand. It feels very sturdy and it is a lot heavier than I imagined it would be. It looks just like the one used in the movies. I am, however, disappointed that it doesn’t actually do magic in the hands of a Muggle like myself. I’ve tried every spell imaginable, ranging from basic magic like levitation, to more advanced magic like producing a patronus. Nothing works. I know I’m doing them right because I’ve read the books and watched the movies at least 100 times. I didn’t want to believe that I was truly a Muggle at first, but now I’m coming to terms with it. I just thought that maybe the owl delivering my Hogwarts letter couldn’t make it all the way from Hogwarts to the US.

I bought this as a gift for my 9 year old step daughter who loves Draco Malfoy. It was a hit, partly because the wand itself feels nicely made, of solid wood construction and an authentic color and size. The other thing she liked about it is the "official" feeling of the velvet lined box and other packaging. As a symbol of the power of a wizard in the Harry Potter Universe, I expect she will enjoy lots of imaginary play with it. I can't speak to long term durability, but will add that information if we have issues. The price seemed a bit inflated to me. But, her excitement about it made the purchase worth it. Recommended!

Wurde als Geburtstagsgeschenk gekauft. Kind ist absolut begeistert. Der Stab macht einen sehr schönen Eindruck. Liegt gut in der Hand, ist sauber verarbeitet und wirkt allgemein sehr wertig. Ich würde ihn bei Bedarf noch einmal kaufen.
