This is especially useful for cooling off a laptop, like a MacBook Pro 2019. Negatives: 1. Despite the good build, the fan is a huge disappointment. 2. While it is fast and generates a strong breeze, other fans provide similar airflow with barely 1% of the noise. 3. It’s unbelievably loud—like a miniature airplane engine—emitting a high-pitched noise that quickly becomes unbearable. 4. Within a minute, you’ll want to turn it off just to escape the sound. 5. Because of this, the fan completely fails its purpose—what good is a fan if the noise makes you not want to use it?
