This numbing cream works surprisingly well and really helps minimize discomfort during Brazilian waxing. I applied it ahead of time as directed, and it definitely took the edge off and made the whole process much more tolerable. The cream absorbs nicely without feeling overly greasy, and I liked that it didn’t leave my skin irritated afterward. The added ingredients like vitamin E and allantoin also helped keep my skin feeling calmer and less sensitive. A little goes a long way, and the numbing effect was noticeable enough to make a real difference compared to waxing without it. It’s also convenient to have on hand for other minor skin irritation or discomfort when needed. Overall, this is a great option if you want to help reduce pain and sensitivity during waxing or other uncomfortable skin treatments.

I was APPALLED at how very tiny this jar is but it had great reviews so I thought I may as well give it a chance. My heart sunk as I remembered the review that instructed to spread it on "like frosting on a cake." I also thought of all the reviews that suggested two coats. Since I was planning on using it to give myself a Brazilian (sugaring, not waxing), I wasn't taking any chances. I imagined that I would use up most of the tiny bottle, considering that I had already made the attempt twice (without numbing cream) and failed miserably. It even occurred to me that I wouldn't be saving all that much (over salon prices) if I couldn't get it all done on the first try and would need to do the whole thing all over again! It works! It works like a miracle! I spread it on, not thick at all but thick enough to make sure it got to the skin (I did trim first but well, you know). I remembered the reviews that said not to rub it in too much, just leave it on the surface, so I did. I couldn't figure out how to cover it with plastic though so I got a large plastic bag (similar to a garbage bag) and cut out leg holes. I wore that for 20 minutes and went to put on another coat. I was already numb! I couldn't feel a thing but even so, I wanted the 2nd coat, hoping it would reach a deeper level and to make sure I was as numb as possible. Again, I put my plastic bag back on and waited until I washed that off about 15 minutes later and was TOTALLY numb! I'm happy to report that I completed the ENTIRE job and barely used about 1/8 of the bottle! I do have a few strays and a couple of small patches left but that's no fault of the numbing cream, sugaring is hard! I could have easily gotten a new glob of sugar and kept going but I figured that was enough for one day (it's not good to keep going over and over the same area) and I'm not afraid anymore! I wouldn't need to numb the whole area to do the rest anyway, just a few patches; in fact, I likely wouldn't need it at all for the small amount left. I was numb for a good 40 minutes after, when the cooling cream I bought for the occasion started to kick in. Now I'm not saying it was pain-free, it was still painful, but a MILLION times better than my first two attempts! I was originally looking for numbing cream for derma-rolling and I wanted to try it on my face first but once I got my sugaring recipe right, I just couldn't wait to get it done! Sorry to write a book here but I just couldn't be happier! It costs about $80 to have a Brazilian sugaring at the salon and I did my own for less than $5! Sure, I could use a few touch-ups, but I'll be doing that in my own time, by myself, for pennies! I spent about $2.50 for the amount of numbing cream I used, a tiny amount of Finipil Lait 50 (antiseptic cream that cools, soothes, moisturizes, protects against infection, reduces ingrown hairs, and according to some reviewers, slows hair regrowth), a small amount of my sugaring mixture (2 cups sugar, 1/4 cup fake lemon juice, 1/4 cup water- simmered until it turns the color of dark ale), one rubber glove from a pack of 10 pairs from the Dollar Tree, and a large Goodwill bag! I WILL be buying this again! I'll update when I get around to derma-rolling for those of you buying this for that purpose but if your intent is having a Brazilian, do it! UPDATE: I never got around to doing those last few little patches (it wasn't a vanity thing, it was a comfort thing and they didn't bother me) but I've redone the whole thing again today. I wondered if two coats were really necessary, or if the plastic was really necessary, but I didn't want to sit around naked to test it so this time I used a Walmart bag to cover my crotch and put on some big granny-panties to hold it in place under my pajama pants. In some places I was nearly numb after 20 minutes, but in others, not so much. I opted for the 2nd coat and repeated the process. I waited almost 20 mins and was pleasantly numb. Sure, it still hurt like hell, but I was able to get through an ENTIRE self-Brazilian sugaring wax! Since the hairs were shorter and hadn't completely grown in yet (it wasn't as thick), I'm almost bare now! I didn't want to keep going over parts that don't matter much (the upper line that always bleeds) so I still have a few strays there but again, that's because of my sugaring method, not this numbing cream. I will DEFINITELY keep buying this! Now that I've figured out a cheap way to do away with pubic hair, I will NEVER go back to the irritation of dealing with it. I got laser hair removal (lower arms and legs) 10 years ago and it was absolutely excruciating. I barely made it through the 9 sessions. I got the prescription numbing cream they offered me once but it didn’t seem to do anything. Fast forward to now and I finally decided to get my full legs, arms and under arms done but I couldn’t stomach the thought of the pain like before. I ordered this hoping but not counting on it doing anything. WOW, was I surprised! I’ve now used it for two sessions, the first time for legs and the second time for arms and underarms. It ABSOLUTELY changed the game both times. The bottle is small but it was enough for round one of legs and round one of arms and underarms with enough left over to probably do round two of arms and underarms. The first time I used it I applied a first coat (rubbed it in) fresh out of the shower about an hour and a half before my appointment and then a second thicker coat and plastic wrapped my legs. I wiped it off right before I left for the appointment and it definitely took the edge off. I still felt it, but it took the pain from a 6 or 7 to a 3 or 4. The second time (arms and underarms) I put the cream on 2.5 hours before the appointment (I was a little worried it was too soon) but it actually worked even better I think. I did a layer and rubbed it in like I was putting on lotion and then added a thicker coat, but I didn’t rub it all the way in and I didn’t plastic wrap it. Shortly before I left for my appointment I added a little more and then right before treatment I wiped it off. I felt very little pain this time and my arms still feel somewhat numb 4 hours later. I’m SO pleased I found this cream and I’ll buy as many bottles as I need to get through treatment.

I used this cream for a large back piece that runs through the middle and lower part of my back, including my spine. About two hours before my appointment, I had my girlfriend apply a thick layer and cover it with plastic wrap. The cream worked extremely well at first. I honestly didn’t feel much of the line work for about the first hour and a half. Instead of pain, I mostly felt vibration and pressure from the machine. Anyone who has been tattooed on their spine or lower back knows that’s impressive. After about an hour and a half to two hours, the numbing started wearing off and the tattoo sensation came back pretty quickly. The shading wasn’t nearly as bad as the line work, but I eventually tapped out about halfway through what was expected to be a 5–6 hour session. I’ll need a second session to finish the remaining 1–2 hours of shading. Overall, I’d definitely use this product again. It gave me a very comfortable start to one of the most painful areas to tattoo and easily provided about 1.5–2 hours of solid numbing. I’ll be using it again for the final session to finish the piece. I don’t think the spray works if you finished line work because the shading is sort of new skin. Just buy the cream and break up your tattoo sessions if you need to.

Easy to apply and not too greasy, but the numbing effect was only moderate. It helped a little, though it took a while to work and didn’t last as long as expected. Decent product, but not quite as effective as I hoped.

needed some numbing cream for my laser appointment since I have a bad pain tolerance, and my first session was too much. I used it for my under arms and my Brazilian areas and it worked like a charm! I put on the cream 45 minutes prior to my appointment and my under arms felt like nothing and my Brazilian was a 4 out of 10. It also works better if you ice while you’re at your appointment. To add an extra layer of numbing.

This numbing cream definitely works! I have several tattoos and I have never used any type of numbing cream . I had a terrible rib tattoo I needed covered and I was dreading it because I know how painful the ribs are. I bought this numbing cream after reading tons of reviews, but still kept my expectations of it working low so I wasn’t disappointed if it didn’t work. The cream doesn’t really have much of a scent , I applied some cream and rubbed in a little bit into my skin and then applied more cream cream like icing on a cake using plastic gloves so I didn’t get it on my hands. Wrapped the area in saran wrap/ plastic wrap and left it on for two hours 9am-11 am. My appointment was at 11 so when I pulled in I unwrapped it and gently wiped it with a wet paper towel and then a dry one. It wasn’t greasy but slightly sticky… You don’t feel any type tingling or cooling / burning sensation while it’s on so if you’re not feeling anything that does not mean it’s not working!! I was definitely really numb and it was cold to the touch . I Didn’t realize he was going to be drawing the tattoo out with sharpie so by the time we actually started it was about 11:45 . I could feel the vibrations of the gun and it mainly felt like someone dragging a pen or pencil on my ribs. Unfortunately it only lasted about an hour and a half into the tattoo and it ended up being 4 hour session. So it lasted a little bit over two hours for me. I will say it was well worth the price for the two hours of no pain
