Best Disc
Love my Cora disc. It is by far the best period product on the market and while messier than some options I find it is the most comfortable, cleaning once before bed and once in the morning is easy enough and the self emptying is a game changer. It may not be for everyone but I love it and I never feel it inside me and I love not having to spend $30 each month on other products.

No Tampons, No Leaks since 2020.
I have used the Original Cora Disc in the past (purchased maybe 3 years ago, which I recently misplaced after traveling). They currently offer 2 different discs out; the Perfect fit (this one) and the Soft fit. It was said that the “Perfect Fit” was the same fit as the original, and based off my experience I don’t think that’s true. The reason why I liked the original so much, was because I could ‘self empty’ just by voiding urine every time I sat on the toilet. With this disc, I have to flex my muscles to break the seal and allow liquid to flow through. While it’s comforting to know that I won’t have any issues with leaks (I didn’t with the “original” disc either), I would rather be able to easily ‘self empty’ than have to force the action. I think the difficulty comes from the rim being more rigid. I don’t feel like there is a NEED for me to have 2 different discs… In the past I have also used a the Flex cup and SAALT cup. I would recommend the disc experience over a cup every time. It’s cleaner because of the ability to ‘self empty’, easier to put in place, and easier to remove (in my opinion, especially for those with a high cervix, which is the case for most people at the beginning of their period). I have personally NOT purchased tampons in over 5 years. Only purchase liners and sometimes overnight pads. If you are like me and hate the gushing feeling and/or the anxiety of whether or not you are leaking through your clothes. You should give this product a try. Hopes this helps ladies.

Comfortable option but messy
This review is for the ladies with heavy flow. The idea you could wear this cup for 12 hours is a joke for us. If you are one of those ladies who can, you have no idea how lucky you are. I, on the other hand, am in the unfortunate club of women that lose a gallon of blood every time Eve shows her bloody face. That “couple tablespoons of blood per cycle” thing is false information in my world and out the door the second Eve lands. I have to dump this disc every hour for the first 3 days at a minimum. Every. Stinking. Hour. Now, if I had a sugar daddy and could lounge around at home all day for a week every 23 days (yes, every 23 days!) then that would be fine for this disc. Trying to remove this disc every hour to dump it at work though is not feasible. Sitting in bathroom stall with hand looking like I just slaughtered a goat by ripping out its neck doesn’t feel very “put together”. That right. Compared to dumping a cup this is a much messier experience for me. Oh, you can try to clean yourself up in a public bathroom stall…sure. You can bring a water bottle to rinse your disc and your hand and try not to splatter blood drops on your clothes….but the odds fall every hour ladies. Can you make it through 8 murderous disc dumps, spot free, in one work shift?? I think not! Then comes the hidden hand walk to the sink as you have to scrub the blood out of your manicure. Praise the Lord most women at least understand the BS we have to deal with each month. So why would I still give it 4 stars? Well it’s better than the Luna cup I was using for a few reasons. That cup was making me cramp, leaked a little, and pinched my urethra a little making it so I couldn’t pee without pushing, and never fully empty my bladder. It held about the same amount of blood, maybe a tad more, but I was a pro at the hourly dump. My hand only looked like I dribbled some ketchup vs murdered a goat. Easy TP clean up. The disc however, is much more comfortable. I honestly cannot feel it all, where I could feel the cup. It also has zero leaks. Peeing is normal too! My personal solution is to wear this disc when I’m able to work from home and for days 4-6 when Eve chills out and backs off the flow. If I have to go to the office I have to wear the Luna cup and I wear the cup at night on days 1-3 as emptying this disc in the dark every other hour left my bathroom looking like a scene from Psycho. My husband actually woke me up to make sure I was alive after he found that surprise the next day. Whoops. Sorry babe. So there you have it. Super comfy disc, zero leaks, no peeing obstruction but teeny tiny capacity for us heavy volume ladies. That small capacity leads to one hell of a mess and makes this one a no go for road shows while in phase 1. #JustWaitingOnMenopause

Best period product out there
I have been using a Cora disc for years and finally had to replace it (because a kid hid it somewhere I can’t find it, not because it became unusable). I absolutely love this thing - it makes my period so much less stressful. Durable, high quality, and works well. I love that they’re purple now too - my original one was black and the purple is so fun!

Good if you’re comfortable with your body
I won’t lie, it took me a while to get where I could figure this this out. There were some tears. I finally figured out that I had to plug in the opposite way from what the instructions say in order to be able to remove it. If you’re not familiar and comfortable with that part of your body, I do not recommend this. But if you can figure it out, it’s wonderful. I can’t even feel it and don’t have to worry all day about it. It’s comfortable to exercise and wear all day. I’ll never go back to other products.

Great Product
This product makes life so much easier. I am 16 years old and I’m not a big fan of tampons but I feel like pads are uncomfortable, tend to leak on the sides, and make it very dry down there. I was a little intimidated by the size of the disc but once folded it is very manageable. This product is pretty easy to insert and once it’s in, you can’t feel anything. Taking it out is the tricky part but it’s not bad. I got the pixie steamer for cleaning it in between uses since I didn’t want to boil it. You can leave it in for up to 12 hours which is perfect for if you play sports and don’t have access to the bathroom for long amounts of time. I did notice that it leaked a little every time I used it but it was a very minuscule amount and if you wear a panty liner it will be fine.

I wish it didn't have the removal notch, but otherwise it works well for me
I bought the Cora Perfect Fit disc as an alternative to the Flex Reusable disc, which I had for 1-2 years. As I read more about menstrual discs, I started to realize that the Flex consistently auto-dumping and leaking was probably a sign it was too big for me, so I wanted to size down. I also wanted something a little less firm, because Flex seems to be the firmest disc out there, and it always made my cramps worse on the first day. After reading a lot of reviews, the Cora PF seemed like a good next step. My initial thoughts (currently on day 2 of use) are that the PF rim doesn't feel significantly less firm than Flex, if at all. When I got it out of the box, I was actually surprised at how firm it felt. Second, and more importantly, I don't like the removal notch. Flex's basin is super soft, and Cora's removal notch has some firmness/structure to it. That has made insertion of the Cora a little painful/uncomfortable for me, as it feels like it scrapes as it goes in. I've also read comments from others wishing the removal notch didn't exist because it limits basin capacity, and I have to agree. It isn't adding to my experience at all and is in fact detracting from it. I'll try to remember to update my review as I continue to use it, but for now, I'm tentatively planning on buying a different brand of disc without a removal notch for next time. UPDATE: A few days later, I'm upgrading my review to 4 stars. I still don't love insertion with the removal notch, and like some other reviewers mentioned, the notch sometimes moves during the day and isn't always front and center when it's time for removal. But I did get used to it, and it hasn't been as bothersome to insert now that I know what to expect. I also still find that the disc leaks a little, but it's hard to tell if that's just leftover blood from autodumping or actually leaking. On the autodumping front, it does still autodump for me, but less than the Flex did (maybe only when it's actually full?) and seems to automatically move back into place reliably. I don't have to check it every single time I pee and push it back into place like I did with the Flex. So the PF definitely seems to be a better size for my body. I also found that after the first day or two, when I was most sensitive physically, I forgot that the disc was there most of the time. So in summary, I think this is a good product that works relatively well for me. I might try something else but don't necessarily feel like I have to. Hopefully this review is helpful for someone else!
