Q: Can I fit the lower monitor such that it almost touches the table ?

yes, you can. i have a 23.8in monitor on the lower part & it sits about 5in from the top of my desk - and that’s not the lowest it’ll go. hope this helps!!

Q: Can this mount hold a single 50 inch tv that weighs around 22 lbs?

Not safely. I attempted a smaller tv and it couldnt safely support the weight. The stand will lean forward. It is only meant to hold standard size pc monitors.

Q: Have you tried mounting this to a glass topped desk? I have standing desk with a glass top and I'm concerned the C-clamp will crack the glass.
