Best Water Flosser I have used so far.
I have tried no fewer than 10 water flossers in my life. This is my favorite for convenience, portability, water stream power, how it fits in my hand, and size. It about 2 years using it twice a day, the batteries last about 3 weeks, and it needs to be cleaned every 1-2 weeks. ( germs from your dirty mouth and the bathroom build up.) I wish it had a rechargeable option, and I wish it was easier to disassemble for cleaning. Again I have not found anything I liked better.

Works well and water pressure is good
Bought a second one for a different houses. First one is over 7 years old and going well. The trick is to use good rechargeable battery. Fujitsu. It's better than my waterpik and last longer on trips. Easily last 2 weeks for 2 adults. This uses only 2 AA battery, where the Waterpik used 3 AAA (and did not feel as strong). Easy to clean was also what I had like. Just pull it apart and you can reach everything. The only minor complain is the cap to the battery housing is a little hard to twist off. I guess that offset the tight seal as I have never had water issues or seepage into the batter compartment and compact. It also stands upright and stable, don't wobble and easily get knock over. Folding down to a small cylinder help when travelling.

Excellent overall
This is the best water flosser Iโve used. I actually like it better than my sonicare. The force of the water is very strong but comfortable. It is noticeable that it gets weaker as the battery starts to fade but I use rechargeable so I just charge them again. And of course this is great for travel. Very good product update: its probably best not to store the tip in the recommended spot on the side of the body while traveling since its not very secure. Korean airport security went through my carryon, took this out and when I arrived home I noticed that the tip was missing. Panasonic charges $11 for replacement tips. I really like this flosser but I'm pretty annoyed.

Works great until it quits after a few months
This review is for the Panasonic Water Flosser for Travel, the battery operated model. Compared to the previous battery model, this one is quieter and more ergonomic. Unfortunately, it lost all power after five months of intermittent use during travel and the water barely drips out. Total waste of money.

not perfect yet, but I like it
Compact, effective, reliable. My experience with Panasonic dental irrigators informs me that they work for about 8 or 10 years, then you must get a new one. This current replacement displaces the older model, which had the battery loading port on top. The new model leaves room for improvement, because you must disassemble it to load the battery on the interior of the gadget. On the other hand, the new battery loading port requires no nickel or similar coin, but opens with a finger. Since our enlightened modern age has achieved the obsolescence of pocket change, we must regard this as a step forward. Not even this new Panasonic model has achieved perfection yet, I must give it less than a perfect five stars.

Great oral water pick
Just purchased this to replace a thirteen year old, earlier model of the same Panasonic water flosser. The old one still worked, but wife said the inside of the tank was too gross looking. Holds enough water for me for a single session without refilling. Water pressure is good (as it has been with the old one for the last 13 years). I like the AA battery usage (I use Eneloop rechargables in it, which will last for months without recharging), as I doubt any built-in rechargeable battery would last 13 years. Reading reviews complaining about a flooded battery compartment, and looking at the device design as an engineer, I notice that if the tank were to be compressed closed with any water left in it at all, this could force water into the battery compartment and of course cause a device failure. So do not compress the tank without first opening the fill door and shaking out any water in it. Also, to keep the tank from growing mold I always store the device uncollapsed, with fill door open and water shaken out. Hope this new one lasts as long as it predecessor.

Highly recommend especially for travel and checked luggage. AA batteries.
I keep buying this same model every 7 years or so. These are the best portable irrigators. I prefer these for the AA batteries and not rechargeable so that they can pack in checked luggage. When used with NiMH they have plenty of power to clean your teeth. Highly recommend this.

Perfect for travel: compact with a great water tank
Iโve used a lot of travel flossers, and Panasonic is definitely the best. Itโs incredibly compact but still manages to have a large enough water tank so you aren't constantly refilling it. I actually have a Sonicare travel water flosser from Costco that I use at home, but this Panasonic one is the only one I ever pack for trips. Highly recommend if you need something portable that actually works well!
