These are very heavy duty, the levelers work as they are designed to. A little oil or never seize on the threads wouldn't hurt if you leave the exposed to the weather. Also something under the point of contact if it's on the ground or Grass

Like others stated screw handles are lil short but works out great and price is reasonable.

Good price and they work ok, straight out of the box. I was positively impressed how the thread worked fine from top to bottom. As mentioned in other reviews, the handles are extremely small. Looks like a joke, to be honest. But they did the job this time, and for the price, I won't complain. That said, after just a few days outdoors, a lot of rust appeared throughout. I'm done with them for now, so the jacks are cleaned off and greased up for storage, to hopefully work again in the future. That kind of treatment was/is not needed for older items that are several decades old, and still look better than these 'new' ones.

Actually used on a baker style scaffolding outside. Worked flawlessly to level and plumb the scaffold before use. I just cut a few 2x4 blocks and drilled a hole through the center of each to pass the Acme screw through it. That "adapted" the round screw to the square tubing of the Baker scaffold and gave it a bit of cushion too. Will last a lifetime.
