Anything you put on your nail is likely "absorbed" ! I've used Nutranail Flex-Shield Nail Hardener over a year without any problems/side effects.! I'm super sensitive to a wide range of ingredients with NO PROBLEMS. It is the BEST nail hardener on the market!!!! I use it as a BASE COAT & TOP COAT. MY MANICURES LAST EASILY UP TO 14 DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can finger nail polish remover take it off?

I think so. I don't remove it from my nails, I just polish over it

Can you use it as a top coat

Yes, I always use two thin coats on top of my nail polish and I can usually go at least one week between polishing.

Does this have any shine or color to it? It’s for my husband’s nails, and I don’t think he would appreciate a nail polish look.
