This works very well in summers. I live in Kanpur and my balcony is east facing with the harsh sun light between April to July. Last year many of my plants died. I purchased this early this year. Most of plants are alive. You can also use this to prevent your plants from the morning dew in winters. The only draw back is this gets thrown around in aandhi being light weight but other than that it serves it's purpose.
