Skandika Vegas Mummy Sleeping Bag, Warm 300 gsm, Filling and Breathable for Camping, Hiking and Trekking, 220 x 110 cm/XL X-Wide

Not used in the field yet as only just received it, that said my initial impression from inspection out of the box is positive. I Purchased the left zip bag together with the right zip version of the same colour so we could join them up. These bags are roomy on their own but when zipped together they create a HUGE and very spacious double bag. The wife an I are both "big boned" and found we could have easily fit another person in the middle of us. Our 8y daughter and dog climbed in with us when we were checking the bags for size. We choose the orange colour for both bags mainly due to the cheaper price offered on them. That said the orange colour is very appealing and gives the bags a bit of classic camping class. The zips were easy to undo and didn't snag as easily as other bags I've had. Packing them back into the compression sacks was easy enough without any real effort required to shove them back in. The filling appears well distributed with no lumps. In my opinion they feel thick enough for late spring and summer use, maybe more? cannot confirm until field tested. Looking for a junior version of this bag now for the daughter, shame they don't do the vagas junior in the orange.

This bag is actually massive and i LOVE it! as a larger person, i really hate small sleeping bags, but this one has room for you and a cosy fleece should you be camping in the rain! we chose this one so that we could also buy a left handed one so that me & hubby could have one mahooosive sleeping bag! only let down is that it doesnt have that bag technology where you can just stuff it into the bag. You have to actually roll it up insanely tight and then get someone else to help you put the cover over - its not an easy task when your in a rush!

There's a huge range of sleeping bags on the market, and many of them are of excellent quality and durability. However, if you're six-and-a-half feet tall, and wide to match, most won't fit you. Until recently I've been using the down-filled, military-issue bag I've had since the 80s, but it's really past its best (as am I). I didn't want to spend a fortune on a bag that might not fit me, so I thought it was worth gambling forty quid on this one. Yes, it's gigantic, as the ad says. You could fit two ordinary people in it. And, yes, it really is bright orange. You'd be hard pressed to lose it. It's not mummy-shaped like most modern bags -- despite the ad -- it's a gently-tapered rectangle. If you're even approximately a normal shape, you're going to have a lot of room at the foot end. Room for a pet, maybe. There are two problems, however. First, the filling is not very thick. If it were duck-down or something like that, you might get away with it. But with a synthetic filling, the bag on its own is really only suitable for warm-weather use. You could use it with a liner, of course, in colder weather -- ideally a close-fitting one, because it's going to be hard for your body heat to warm up all the empty space at the foot end. Second, the quality of construction does not seem all that wonderful. Right from the start the zip sticks, and I'm reluctant to tug on it in case the fabric tears. It really does feel as if the stitching might give way. My previous bag lasted for thirty years, in some quite hostile conditions. Nothing about this bag gives me any confidence that it will do the same. However, I'm willing to be proven wrong. In short -- it seems to be a perfectly serviceable sleeping bag for light use, in relatively mild conditions.

Great Sleeping bag, I received the Left Zip one in error but was not too precious about which way it opened. The sleeping bag is great! There is so much room to move in the sleeping bag and it is really warm. I have not tried this product outdoors and have no intention either, this has been used for crashing on people couches and floors when visiting.

I'm 182cm tall but very broad across the shoulders, and normal mummy sleeping bags just aren't big enough. I've put up with one that's too small for years, but I now spend 20 or more nights each year in a tent and being comfortable is important. This bag gives me a few inches of room either side, so I can roll over and move comfortable, and is long enough that I can slide down into the bag without my feet being compressed in the bottom. Strongly recommended.

great size, but not enough insulation at all. Cornwall summer of 2018 and I was cold at dead mans hour 03:00 in the morning. They claim comfort range 13 to 3 deg. No way!!!. be prepared to need an additional layer, i bought a cheaper sleeping bag to use as a duvee. So in the end spent alot of money , when this should have worked alone

its nice and big, but thin and lumpy. has ZERO warming abilities - never been so cold in my life.I stuffed it with blanket and was still shaking like a leaf for whole sleepless night in temperature stated as comfortable in product description.

Nice wide and long (like me). Kept me warm in 0Oc in a hammock with open tarp. It seems like it had a wind proof coating as well, as the wind changed directions at our site a number of times, and would blow through my tarp setup, but I only felt it on my face which was uncovered. Zips could have been of better quality, but at this price I am very satisfied with what I have.

l'ho usato solamente due notti:ha fatto bene il suo lavoro a livello di protezione dal freddo e capienza.Note negative sulla cerniera che al primo uso si è subito inceppata.Rimessa a posto si è inceppata di nuovo,ho quindi usato il sacco a pelo come una grossa coperta....un po' deluso.

Molto ampio e ben fatto, all'interno è accogliente anche x le taglie XXL..

La femme aime bien l'utiliser dans notre camping-car - le chien aussi! Bonne qualité et chaleureuse.

Muy calentito. Tiene un importante tamaño, pero es normal si quieres calor a buen precio.

El saco es amplio, pero el margen de temperatura que pone en el anuncio NO ES CORRECTO y tras probarlo con 5°, definitivamente la etiqueta que trae, TAMPOCO ES CORRECTA. Hasta los 10° funciona bien.
