I’ll admit, after being let down by Modern Warfare 3, I wasn’t in a hurry to pick up Black Ops 6. However, I’m pleasantly surprised by the overall package here. The campaign is one of the better ones by CoD standards, though don’t go in expecting the depth of a God of War or Red Dead Redemption. There are some enjoyable twists on classic action tropes, which kept things entertaining. The Zombies mode is as chaotic, freaky and fun as ever, and the multiplayer is solid, even if you find yourself frequently outmatched by players who’ve already racked up hundreds of hours in just a couple of weeks! If you’re a CoD fan, it’s definitely worth a go. That said, while each mode (campaign, Zombies, and multiplayer) is well done, I’m not convinced any of them justify the game’s current price tag on their own if I'm being honest. All in all, a worthwhile addition for fans – just maybe wait for a sale if you’re on the fence!

There’s been a lot of slack for this game from people playing the beta. However, I personally think this is a great game so far. I’ve not been able to play a lot of it, but what I have seems to be very smooth so far. The new omnimovement is brilliant, very smooth gameplay, albeit, will take some time to adjust and master. The multiplayer maps are slightly bland at the moment, but will need some time to get used to them. Visually the game is brilliant and is very much giving me Black ops 3 vibes with a hint of the MW series. (Without the jumping all over the walls). The sounds are amazing, very crisp and realistic weapon sounds. I’ve not had a chance to touch Zombies as of yet, but looks very similar to Cold War zombies and the ability to level up multiplayer weapons and rank etc. So far from the small gameplay I have experienced. I have really enjoyed it. Definitely worth a go if you enjoy the Black ops series.
