Natural Looking Hair Color with good coverage
I really liked this henna and indigo hair color. The ingredients felt natural and gentle on my hair, and it gave nice color coverage without making my hair feel dry or damaged. The instructions were easy to follow and the product quality was very good. I would definitely buy it again.

How to use (2 steps)
There was no instruction for the combo so I got the instructions from seller’s website. (Tips: search “Henna”’or “Indigo” separately) For black hair, follow the 2-step treatments: 1. Henna treatment: Step 1. Wash your hair thoroughly before applying henna powder. Step 2.Mix henna powder with warm water to create a smooth paste. Add lemon juice to enhance binding. Step 3. Allow the henna paste to sit for a few hours or overnight to release. Step 4. Section your hair and apply the henna paste, starting from the roots to the tips. Step 5. Leave the henna on your hair for a 2-3 hours. Rinse your hair thoroughly with water. Step 6. Wait 24-48 hr before shampooing your hair to allow the color to set. 2. Indigo treatment: Step 1- Apply henna powder before applying indigo powder. Step 2- In a non-metallic bowl, mix the indigo powder with warm water. Step 3- Section your hair and start applying the indigo mixture from the roots to the tips, ensuring complete coverage. Step 4- Put shower cap and leave it for 1 hours Step 5- Rinse it with clean water Step 6- Avoid washing your hair with shampoo for at least 24-48 hours after applying indigo to allow the color to fully develop.

Excellent Quality & Great for Coloring almost 100% Gray/White New Growth
This is the best Henna & Indigo I've used to color 100% gray/white new growth. I have 4C hair with 20 inch locs. It is fine sifted and mixes without clumping. The Henna has a deep bright color w/ shine and a silky texture. Unlike other products and website suggestions, I only let this oxidize (sit) after mixing for 45 minutes--mixed w/ purified water only. The hair (shampooed before application) rinses clean without grit or feeling dry. After applying and rinsing the Henna, I mixed the Henna and let it sit for about 15 minutes to develop. Next, I mixed the Indigo separately and then mixed it with the Henna for the 2nd step. I applied the Henna/Indigo immediately; following the Morrocan Method suggestion that you mix and apply Indigo immediately. I was able to achieve a light to medium brown in the patch test within 45 minutes and the same in the full application after 2 hours with the Henna/Indigo ratios I tried. One caveat for me is that after rinsing the Henna/Indigo 2nd step application I do a light shampoo with my cold process bar soap. This generally helps remove any excess powder for me and ensures that it dries silky and without grit/dryness. I don't think it compromises color. I've tried other Indigos and they didn't work at all. Consistent with my research regarding true indigo, this Indigo is "blue" if you test it with cloth or paper towel.

I bought this product to avoid chemical dyes and used this it twice, a month apart each time. While it covered most of my grays reasonably well, the color faded quickly and some strands in my front hairline appeared resistant to the dye. I will not be repurchaing and plan to try a different brand going forward.

Beautiful and soft shiny hair
Quick guides but do your own research . One step process dark brown color for black Long hair Step 1…Mixed one package of the henna powder with a few drop of tea tree or rosemary oil, pour slowly 1.5 - 2 cups of strong hibiscus warm tea till mixture forms soft paste. Set aside for 2 hours. Step 2… Shampoo and rinse your hair twice, rinse well no conditioner. Blowout dry and wait till henna is ready to use. Step 3… mix one pack of indigo powder with 1 cup of warm water to form thick paste. Combine both henna and indigo powder and gradually add in water until the paste looks like thick yogurt paste. Step 4 … apply the mixture into your hair and let it rest for 3 hours wrapped around with hair caps. Rinse out clean and apply hair mask after then. Happy results

Transforms your hair naturally. Absolutely loved the product. Thanks!
Tried indigo after learning that it can give a natural black shade. Transformation was amazing. Henna powder gives a reddish brown color and once you apply indigo the next day all the previously greys are turned to black. I used to apply henna for conditioning before and later to cover greys. Off late as the greys are ever growing and have taken over a greater part of a side the henna hue used to be very prominent. After i started using indigo all the greys have turned to natural black and i absolutely love my hair. The best part is the hair looks and feels conditioned too, my frizzy hair is lot more tamed now, also it gives a natural color. It doesn’t globally cover greys like a dye and depends on the application like we may miss one or two greys here and there which blend and it looks and feels natural. While fading out also the greys do not appear like a grey patch, they more of less naturally blend and it doesn’t look odd at all. I have long hair and i apply once in a month or so and it has worked great. Coming to cons, not exactly cons but thats the way indigo is. The whole process is a bit messy. Indigo doesn’t hold water well like henna. Water gets separated and it drips a bit, a lot if you have mixed more water than required. Keep a separate dark coloured top aside when you are planning to as it may leave stains. Henna mask and indigo mask a day later can keep your hair and head wet for 2/3 hrs a day. And again the next day you wash it. If you’re someone who catch cold easily or have sinus problems it may cause a bit of discomfort.
