Blue Bag Neck Sealer Tape Dispenser, Bag Sealer Tape Sealing PVC

I had a restaurant for 28 years and had one of these machines, if the tape is loaded correctly and the machine used correctly it works perfectly, the one we had was still in use when we retired. About November 2023 I decided to buy one for home, at first the negative reviews almost put me off but then I decided to go ahead and order one, if it was as bad as some people made out I could always send it back. Following delivery and loaded a roll of the included tape, red as it happened, I grabbed a dose of freezer bags and away I went, no problem, it worked perfectly. I then took a spare bag, rolled it up and ran it through the machine 8 times, I left it on my desk for a couple of weeks to see if the tape did in fact come loose and drop off, well, in actual fact I forgot about it until a few minutes ago 26/09/2024 19:48 If I had time I would post a picture of it, but I haven't got time but believe me it is exactly as I put it there 9 months ago. My best advice is simply this, if you want one just order it, they are reasonably well made, I don't think they are much different to the previous one I had for 20 some years. One little tip, the tape goes in the opposite way to what you might think it does.

Bag sealer works fine. The tape that comes with it does not.

awful machine cheap plastic works to seal a few bags then the tape wont feed through you loose 4 or 5 inches of tape then you have to feed all tthe way through again awful cheap product would not buy again

works perfectly at a very reasonable price, it's solid, the tape is excellent and quite thick. It's better than I expected.

You can from the start throw away the tape that comes with the sealer. It doesn't stick that well. I found better tape from Tongmaster. Secondly, you need to unbend the cutting "blade" so that it makes better contact with the tape. You can either take the entire think apart and straighten the blade or save yourself some time and do what I did as the "blade" is still not accessible. I used two screwdrivers to bend the "blade". The first one to push the lower lever down a bit so that the forked "blade" is visible. I then placed the second screwdriver shaft below the "blade" and pushed it up to straighten it a bit so that the angle that the blade makes contact with the tape as at 90 degrees. This took 10 seconds to do, but 5 minutes to find my screwdrivers. Now it works like a charm every time. I would have binned the sealer if I didn't figure out how to make it work as it was useless as a few other people have mentioned. If the blade was correct from the beginning then I would have given it 4 stars (as the tape is still unusable being not very sticky).

This product reminded me of my young days when i worked in a supermarket at the fruit and veg counter. I needed one now and this works well so far only a week in though... it comes with no instructions... but i'll try to give a few pointers now... firstly put the sellotape in the spool and then extend the tape to the other end.. BUT the important bit is that the sticky side is facing UP not down as you pull the tape to the other end. Once its at the other end DON'T manually try to feed it to in the small gap to weave it round the small cogwheel (the area where you would put your packaging to get the neck tie) But instead just let the tape go to the end of the machine and dangle there. Then get your package that needs sticking and put it through the small gap at a fairly modest quick pace though. Voila ... Your necktie should have worked ..hopefully...and the tape itself will have gone through onto the cog wheel by itself and now your ready to do another bag until the tap runs out.

Since we’ve run a restaurant, this has been one of the cookers things for sitting bags. I’m very pleased with it and it works very well thank you.
