having had shaving rash on and off for 45 years (i am 64!) i decided to go for a shaving foam that was listed as being ideal for sensitive skin ... and i also went to a one blade razor, just like my dad! from the moment i used both ... smooth as the proverbial baby's bum. the foam is dense, rich and does not irritate at all ... and seems to soften the bristles easily. in addition i gotta say i think the packaging is cool .... and its looks good on the shelf. do not go for a cheaper brand, its a false economy. this is perfecto (that's perfect in english if you are struggling to translate). ;-)

Works well on my sensitive skin, feels good and smells nice

I bought this specifically for shaving my head and it does an ok job, but it is not the best option for that use. The texture is nice and the scent is great, but I wish I had ordered a different product from this range instead because this one does not give the smooth finish I was hoping for. Still works well for a normal shave, just not my first choice for head shaving.

An amazing shave....I bought one from my local pharmacy...then when I wanted a repeat, he said he couldn't get anymore....so I went to Amazon...no problem, I'll order it all the time now .....

Just made my second purchase with the first one lasting four months. Absolutely lovely smell and consistency and as you can see from my comment, it lasts ages because this thing is massive. leaves my head nice and smooth with no shaving rashes.

Excellent product. Gives a close comfortable shave, while leaving skin soft and free from irritation.

A fussy husband who likes good quality products. The foam is thick and luxurious and gives a good shave. The scents is subtle but expensive. This is a good substitute for a product currently three times the price.

It's an ok product but nothing out of the ordinary. Great foam but I found the application strange as it disappeared into my skin.

Der Rasierschaum von Proraso überzeugt mit einer cremigen Konsistenz und einem angenehmen Hautgefühl. Besonders bei empfindlicher Haut wirkt er beruhigend und hilft dabei, Hautreizungen nach der Rasur zu reduzieren. Der Schaum lässt sich gut verteilen, weicht die Barthaare ordentlich auf und sorgt für eine saubere, angenehme Rasur. Auch der Duft ist dezent und angenehm frisch. Für mich definitiv ein sehr guter Rasierschaum und eine klare Empfehlung.

I actually quite like this stuff. I mostly use Gillette for sensitive skin foam, but I do really like this stuff, it's just the price trade-off. This actually got me using ready canned foam more than using soap or cream to work up a lather with. It makes a good barrier between your skin and the blade but the shave stays close. I use the proraso white pre-shave for sensitive skin as well, and have the same brand and white - sensitive skin version for their cream and soap as well. Their aftershave for sensitive skin is also quite good. I just hate that it's twice to three times the price of rival products that are similar but a slight step down (I still use their pre-shave, but the Gillette for sensitive skin and Nivea aftershave balm for men with sensitive skin works quite well).
