Simple to use/
After observing a You Tube video demonstrating tongue and Groove cabinet doors, I purchased Yonico's tongue and groove router bits. I've done a lot of woodworking but have never built cabinet doors. These router bits worked well and saved me a bunch of time. First, they are easy to use. They are designed for 3/4" stock which means adjusting the height of the bit means lining up the tongue cutter with the top of your 3/4" rail. It may have been luck, but my first rail cut on a test piece left a 1/4" on each side of the tongue. Likewise, when using the groove cutter you align your test piece tongue with the router bit. Again, the cut was dead on. With minimal sanding of the rails, I was ready to glue. I used 1/4" baltic birch for the door insert. It was not as snug as the rail and stiles but was tight enough and left room for expansion. The bits easily cut through Select Pine. The edges were crisp with no tear out at a speed of 12,000 on a standard Skil router. I can't speak to durability but for these two doors the setup and execution couldn't have gone better. The bits are heavy and well made. This is a great value, half the cost of other brands but clearly accurate. The simplicity of use is the best characteristic. The only concern is a lack of instructions. However, with you tube there are multiple videos that will walk you through this process of building cabinets.

Good results
Did a nice job on poplar for a cabinet door project. Cuts precisely to 3/4โ. If your stock is even slightly thicker, the tongue bit will leave a whisker edge.

Good, but get the 1/2" shank if you can.
This is my first set of tongue and groove bits. I like them, but they are definitely the scariest bits I've worked with: they are big, so they will cause a lot of vibration! My hand-me-down router and table is really not the best for these and I had to get things good and bolted down before I could safely use them. Even then, I felt there was more slop in the joint than I was expecting. It could be a problem in my setup, (the bits on inspection out of the box seemed well matched). Still, other reviewers have noted that the vibration can cause a slightly larger cut than desired, I'm just not sure in my case. I do recommend seating them absolutely all the way down in the collet (the instructions say it must be inserted 80% minimum, I say go all the way). Since I don't have the money for a nicer router and table this was all I could get for now, but if you have the money, get the 1/2" shank version, not the 1/4". These heads are just so big, it's scary to think that they are only held on by 1/4" of metal! Also, a variable speed router (so you can slow them down) would be nice. My router is not variable speed, sadly. I probably won't use them too much until I can upgrade to something that is. Do not even think about using these in a hand held router.

Works great.
Gave this a test run and worked great. Good smooth cuts. Now that i have been using these bits to make a table I have more to say. MY test run was on 1x3 pine and the cut was perfect so i moved on to oak. I adjusted the height and adjusted the height and adjusted the height until i needed a beer and no matter how many adjustments I made I was always left with a little sliver uncut. It turns out 1x3 oak is just a sliver thicker than 3/4 pine and these bits are precise for 3/4" wood. My bad and not a big problem. I just took off the sliver and I'm good to go. My advice.... Check your dimensions and make sure it's exactly 3/4 before you get frustrated like I did. Stated wood dimensions are not guaranteed. Oh, The bits work great.

Solid performance at a much better price.
Used these to build several shaker cabinet doors. The blades are *very* sharp (sliced my finger first time handling them). My frames are 5/8" MDF. These bits had no problem cutting the material to produce perfect fit tongue and groove joinery. Make sure that you have a router with an adjustable speed setting; large head bits like these need to be used at a slower setting (18,000 rpm) than smaller bits (24,000 rpm). Look for instructions on seller's website (precisionbits). If I were to do it all over again, I'd use true 1/4" MDF panels (better for painting) instead of the plywood, and thus buy the true 1/4" tongue and groove set instead of these. But these do exactly what they claim to do.

Brocas de lengueta y ranura
Buenas brocas a un precio adecuado para uso en talleres pequeรฑos con corridas de produccion cortas o para aficionados. La recomiendo, son de buena calidad. No estan a la altura de una Freud o Amana pero son buenas.
