I didn't really believe the write up about these sleeves, but figured I'd try them -- and am very happily surprised. They really do feel "cool," which is saying something with our Southern humidity, and I kinda wish I had an entire suit made of this stuff. No more itchy arms after harvesting squash or okra. Best of all, the darn little no-see-ums and mosquitos can't bite through them -- so far not even chiggers have bitten my arms (other spots, yup). I haven't had to yet, but it's good to be able to spray DEET on the sleeves instead of on my skin, too. I'm a smallish woman, so the band on the top of the sleeve may be too tight for larger arms, but it is nicely wide and doesn't cut off circulation. The pretty colors are a bonus!

I mow 5 acres every week and these are perfect with a t-shirt and a straw hat in this 80-90 degree summer heat ... They protect me from too much sun and they keep me cool - and they've managed to save me from more than one blackberry briar - and from poison ivy, hemlock and other things many times. ... I will likely buy another set to make sure I have them next summer as these won't last forever with the abuse they're taking.. . ..They do fit like they were made for me, though - and I love them ...

I needed these for gardening and opening boxes at the food bank, where my forearms get lots of ugly scratches. The pair I bought was plain without the finger hole. That's nice. Very sturdy and keeps the bad things away!

These are great in providing protection in the garden during the summer months. I have sensitive skin and typically break out in a rash when harvesting fruits and vegetables. These provided enough protection that I can get all up in my plants to get the good stuff without me getting rashes, scratches or being hot in the summer months.

Exactly as described. Comfortable and cool. Note: Green beans and their leaves stick to them like Velcro! Kind of funny, not at all a problem.
