I’ve been dealing with dry mouth for a while and this mouthwash really helps keep my mouth feeling moist and comfortable throughout the day. The mint flavor is refreshing but not too strong, and there’s no burning sensation like with some alcohol-based rinses. I noticed a big improvement in my breath as well — it feels cleaner for hours after rinsing. The zinc-ion technology seems to do what it claims! The only downside is the dual-pour bottle design — you have to pour carefully to get both sides to come out evenly, and it can be finicky at first. But once you get the hang of it, it works fine and is worth the slightly higher price for the relief it gives.

Been using this mouthwash since it first came out. It works -- but doesn't leave the best flavor in your mouth so I use my regular Crest mouthwash afterward.

So far, this SmartMouth version is better than previous versions. My mouth feels fresh all day! I will continue to purchase this when needed.

This stuff works very very well. I had gross dry mouth and an awful taste in my mouth all the time lately. I brushed, flossed, tongue scraped, drank tons of water, used therabreath mouth wash..,nothing was helping. Idk why but then this stuff really worked well. Cons of this: the bottle flat out sucks. The two sides don’t pour out evenly and sometimes only one side pours out. Also there’s no cap so you can’t travel with it. The company should make separate caps for each side then it would allow the bottle to travel with and can pour each side separately to mix it. It also makes my mouth feel weirdly coated and my tongue is green/white after not pink. I don’t like the taste either. But it makes my breath good so I’ll keep buying it. It’s also kinda pricy.

My client, who told me I always have bad breath, said my breath was fine an hour after I used this. I'm sure I'll be using this further, but there were two side effects with the original formula that lead me to the Dry Mouth formula - inconceivable dryness and oral cavity tissue sloughing. Literally, my entire mouth (interior of cheeks, roof of my mouth, my gums and tongue), became so dry, my tongue would get stuck to any part of my mouth and I could not speak without sounding like my tongue was swollen, which it was not. Within an hour after using this, the dried out inside of my cheeks, my gums and roof of my mouth would begin sloughing away, if I rubbed my tongue against it. After that, no more dryness and my speech became normal. When I switched to the Dry Mouth formula, the dryness reduced, but the tissue sloughin remained the same. It didn't seem healthy or safe giving myself daily chemical peels inside my mouth, but I didn't want clients to smell my breath while massaging them. My doctor suggested I might have thrush and wanted me on antibiotics. I declined. I ran out of normal toothpaste one day and used a back-up, non-fluoridated toothpaste. Voila! Zero dryness and zero sloughing!!! After that I knew what to research online and found that SmartMouth can react as it had in me when used with fluoridated toothpaste.
