I did a humidity test on this (cap of salt mixed with water until sandy texture inside a tupperware for 10 hours) humidity gauge read perfect 75% humidity. The temperature is also perfect or off 1 degree. I’ve had this for a while and it’s still going strong and accurate.

i’ve seen reviews that made me skeptical of getting this regarding it getting wet and not working. mine got wet during a move and sure enough stopped working, **BUT** i took out the battery, wiped it off, and left the thermometer in the sun to dry, and it’s good as new and still as accurate as before. i just bought a second one for the cold side of my ball pythons tank. she loves climbing on them and just hanging out and vibing and i love that i can keep an accurate track of her humidity/heat levels. definitely recommend !!! they can be a little hard to read in certain lighting but you can fix that by putting a piece of white tape behind it if it bothers you that much :)

Works great, mounting is not awesome cause the suction cups are subpar (like most of the little suction cups that come with stuff for terrariums) When the numbers become faint its time to replace the battery which they include an extra! (Idk if its cause theyre nice or maybe its hard to find the batteries im not sure 😬) battery lasts a good yearish though so i havent needed more yet.

This was a nifty little thing and it worked great until it didn't. I went to check the humidity in my gecko's tank one day and the display was just gone. It seems like the battery died after just a few months of use. They did send an extra battery with the order, but I couldn't find it anywhere and just decided to go with a different brand. It probably would have worked again had I inserted a new battery, but if it was just going to die again after three months than it wasn't worth it anyway.

Love this little thing! I can move it anywhere in my iguanas terrarium @ any time. U can set it up in 2 different positions (see pics). The digits r easy to read and it’s super accurate. I’ve only had it not work 2x but I’m sure that dropping it in the drinking water didn’t help much. All I did was took the battery out for a while & it worked perfectly again. It’s way more cost effective than the ones that u stick on the side w/a sticky back. Once u take those off u can’t put them back on. The sticky back is a pain to get off the glass as well. If u want a clean, easy, effective way to monitor the heat & humidity of a terrarium this it the best option!! Only thing I would change is making it 100% water proof!
