Panel damage, ProArt Calibration? Not sure if this is right. PA278CGV.
Received it today, item defective. Screen came in with signs of panel damage: backlight issue in one section to the middle left, when screen area is black there’s one visible bar of one vertical bar (area that’s dim and have white light gradient borders.) that’s visibly damaged, smelled like burnt electrical wires (not sure if damaged on transit). “ProArt” color calibration, came in warm by default. The entire screen was yellow and off white on white areas. The refresh rate was “Ok” upto 144hz but no dynamic refresh as well as able to enable G-SYNC (G-SYNC not available on NVIDIA control panel) Processed for returns, this was disappointing. We purchased a similar item PA278QV, and that item was perfect in terms of color calibration, and I picked the PA278CGV for a higher refresh rate. I’ve purchased this for graphics design, and 3D game asset creation and development, this is honestly NOT acceptable for the price point neither is it usable unfortunately.

Great Overall But Has Some Issues
Great overall compared to my previous 13 year old PA246Q. Text is clean and crisp and the stand is solid and easy to adjust. It supports AMD FreeSync but it works just fine with Nvidia G-Sync It has some minor issues though: switching inputs takes longer than my old monitor which had a single button to do this; with this one I have to fiddle with the OSD and it takes way too many button presses. Switching to another input can also sometimes take several seconds. The blue light filter saving is inconsistent; sometimes the monitor remembers my setting for days, other times only until I turn it off and then it resets it back to zero. Another annoyance is that the signal is lost completely when turning off the monitor, so when using it as a second monitor all the open windows and apps get moved to the first monitor; with my old monitor this only happened with DisplayPort but with this one it's also with HDMI.

Wonderful All In One monitor, Best price range for those specifications. Bought two of them
I am digital artist and bought two of this monitors. Really happy of the results. Was going to buy previous gen Asus pro art monitors (this model is the 3th gen) but this one beats them cause of 144hz refresh rate and 10bit color depth. don't expect good speakers from monitor (if anyone interested). and screen is more reflective than I was expecting. Also I am using both of them side by side and panels are not so great from any viewing angle. It is my first experience with QHD 144hz monitor, and it is just amazing. packaging is such a lightweight and well secured slick box. I shipped in Georgia (the country) and it is nice packaging for me (no extra fees because of less weight and don't takes big space in shipping container) I really recommend this monitor to everyone who needs a multipurpose monitor within budget. its good for single player gaming, for color accurate work (good for digital drawing and photo edit, games are just wonderful looking) and contrast is really good to watch films. image is very crisp. The best price range for those specifications.

Producto defectuoso
Es buen monitor pero está dañado, se ponen de manera intermitente líneas de colores y una pantalla negra. A veces se soluciona reconectando, pero se empieza a hacer más recurrente. Tuve que solicitar devolución.

As good as my older PA278QV, but better...
Thank God I got no dead pixels. No backlight bleed, too. Blacks are gray, since it's not a VA panel, but it doesn't have that ugly IPS glow. The backlight is uniform, which is super rare on IPS displays. I'm so happy that Asus didn't mess with what was good, and only improved what needed improvement, like going from 75Hz, which was fantastic already for an editing display, to 144Hz. They were paying attention to people wanting higher refresh rate to also be able to game with it and enjoy the colors as intended by the developer. I haven't tried HDR mode, but it's really not true HDR. It ain't amazing HDR10+ like our iPhones and Android phones. Still, it's a nice little bonus to get a bit of extra dynamic range even if it doesn't get bright enough to qualify as true HDR. This is a great monitor to enjoy content if you're not gonna be producing it. It's so easy on the eyes. It just looks correct. For three hundred and some change, it's so worth it. A great update to the PA278QV and latter CV model. I'm so happy with it! 🥹 EDIT: The videos are taken with my iPhone 14 Pro Max so you can see how good it looks even on something as old as the Xbox 360 and PS3.
