Absolutely LOVE this cap!
I wanted a Smartwool cap and saw this one was a double-layer, so I bought it. So glad I did. Construction quality is excellent, material is extremely soft, fit is great on my small head. Tested it on a cold day: at 7am it was 29F with winds at 12-17 mph and gusts to 30. As the morning went on, this cap kept my head warm, wind-proof from gusts, and very comfortable. By lunchtime, the temp warmed up to around 38F. I kept the cap on (hat head) and began to sweat mid-afternoon. But the moisture-wicking capabilities of wool were superb. Wore it all day; cold, hot, wind, sweat, it didn't matter - cap performed beautifully. I plan on getting a couple more. Highly recommend!

Works great
Very warm, though nice and thin: I don’t like bulky headgear. Perfect fit. Covers my ears mostly. Nice style. Smart wool makes the best stuff. Not cheap, but it works and lasts forever. When it’s cold and the wind is blowing, you won’t second guess the cost.
