These dryer duct cleaning tools connect to a vacuum handle or hose to use suction to remove lints. Review: Works great - This attaches great to the vacuum hose and suctions deep down into the dryer vent opening. Very easy to use. Review: Worth every penny - Just received this and I used it for the first time today. The guide wire pretty quickly wound off of the plastic tubing, but I didn't really need it. I used both of the attachments and was pleased that they connected to my Dyson, even though the vacuum end wasn't perfectly round. The adapter's plastic is supple enough that it molded around the shape and had powerful suction. Everything traveled into the vacuum and the tubing seems pretty clean after the fact. I ended up using the flat attachment to reach under the washer to vacuum, and it sucked up a cap that was down there that made it all the way up to the adapter where I was able to retrieve it. The plastic held up well against the vent trap door while still bending around into the vent escape. I'm quite pleased so far!
