GTPLAYER Gaming Chair for Adults, Ergonomic High Back Chair with Footrest

I bought this for work after using a very old crappy chair for several years. I'm hoping this helps with my back pain! It was very easy to put together and had everything included for assembly. It even came with extra hardware in case you lose something. You may need a second person to hold the one back piece in place while installing the screws, but otherwise, it's a one person job. The chair is super comfortable, firm, and seems sturdy. It's very nice looking too! You can recline it and adjust the height up and down. The headrest and back pillows can be easily removed. I was worried it would be too big because I'm only 5'3, but it feels very comfortable for me. The reclining option and foot rest are nice bonuses! I'm looking forward to laying back and relaxing for quick breaks during work!

First thing, installation was straightforward with the tool included; moreover, a novice could build without any problems. The chairs' casters are very good, thanks to the spoke design, which allows them to glide smoothly over surfaces. Comfort is also top-notch for back and long periods of sitting in a chair. I liked it so much, I bought my son one which is also likes.

My son loves this chair, we have been through several office/gaming chairs and this one is the best so far. Very comfortable seat and lumbar support. Easy to assemble. Rolls perfectly. The recliner is easy to use. We got the gray/light blue and it looks very nice.

Really comfortable! Springs in the seat, soft and comfortable. Very well made. However, if you're tall and lean back IT WILL TIP OVER. The wheel base isn't broad enough to keep it from tipping. We didn't install the footrest since it encourages reclining. Fortunately, this wasn't an important feature for me, the primary user. The gray with blue looks great. I like the support pillows. Not hard to assemble, but it took some thought since there aren't any instructions included. If you require instructions, this might not be the one for you.

My son put it together and he found it very easy...he loves the chair and goes in it for hours.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE my chair. Its so comfortable and soft. Way better than a leather one. The color is my favorite too. This is the best chair you can ever have. You wont be disappointed at all. GTPlayer your amazing. It looks so good at my gaming desk with pcgaming rig.

I bought this chair thinking I was upgrading my setup. Turns out I was upgrading my lower-back pain. For context, I’m 6’2”, ~200 lbs, and I use my computer a few hours a night. Gaming, work, normal sitting. Nothing extreme. This chair just isn’t built for that reality. Here’s what went wrong: The recline is a crime against spines. When you lean back, the backrest drops but the seat stays flat. Instead of relaxing, your lower back gets pinched like it owes someone money. The footrest is a joke if you’re tall. Unless your legs are made for airplane seats, your knees end up unsupported and angry. Mine definitely were. The “tall back” is mostly decorative. It looks impressive, but it doesn’t actually support your upper back or head in a useful way. It’s more “vibes” than function. Linkage armrests sound fancy, feel awkward. They move when you recline, which sounds ergonomic until your shoulders and arms are suddenly in weird positions. Pocket spring cushion starts firm, ends uncomfortable. Feels okay at first, then slowly turns into “why am I shifting every 5 minutes?” Who this chair is probably for: Someone average height who sits perfectly upright and just wants a chair that looks like a gaming chair. Who should absolutely skip it: Tall people. Anyone who reclines. Anyone with back or knee issues. Anyone who enjoys comfort. I replaced this with a real ergonomic office chair and immediately realized my mistake. Posting this so someone else doesn’t learn the hard way like I did.

Has stayed together nicely for the past couple of years. I was missing a part when I got it, but I messaged the seller directly and they were able to replace it without making me send the whole chair in.

Can't beat the comfort at this price point. Very few ergonomic adjustments but expected in this price range.

I purchased this GTPLAYER Fabric Gaming Chair back in October 2025, and after nearly ten months of daily use, I am extremely satisfied. As someone who spends a lot of time at my computer gaming and studying, finding the right ergonomic support is crucial. For reference, I weigh around 78 kg, and I am amazed that absolutely no part of this chair has started to sag. The pocket spring cushion, the high back, and the lumbar support still feel almost exactly like they did when the chair was brand new. The fabric is incredibly comfortable and breathes well, and the footrest is a fantastic bonus for when I just want to lean back and relax. This is, without a doubt, the absolute best chair I have ever owned. Even though it feels like it will last a very long time, whenever this chair eventually gets old, I will 100% be buying from this brand again. Next time, I’ll definitely go for the upgraded options as well. If you are on the fence about buying this, do it. Highly recommended!

Great chair for the price! It’s comfortable, sturdy, and easy to assemble. The lumbar support and footrest make it perfect for long hours. It’s also a very cute chair—I love the colour! It doesn’t take up much space either. Highly recommend!
