Removing all plastic storage containers isn’t easy because if you’re a human who cooks food or even just eats food in a house with a kitchen, storing food in a fridge or freezer is essentially causes the Just In Case Syndrome. So while every lidded container looks useful we end up feeling like hoarders, or addicts because it’s hard letting go every time we know we must throw away the Pho soup container. It’s the Just In Case Syndrome. Plus I really don’t like washing mounds of plastic containers-and they never seem to feel clean. But I did it. And bought two sets of these gorgeous containers. Super well made, I loved putting the lid on a glass bowl to heat up soup, leaving the hole open to vent and getting a fully heated, safe from microplastics, bowl of soup. Then found out that the lid was mistakenly used in a different brands’ bowl! Which is fantastic because I didn’t have lids for those! Easy to store, keeps food fresh, made beautifully and feel really durable. Really easy decision to throw away plastic containers when you know what to replace them with and from the various options I’ve seen, or bought and returned, these are the absolute best. Easy to use, easy to clean, easy to store, stay airtight, lightweight. The glass lid wrapped in silicon is the chef’s kiss for me. Brilliant job!

I bought 2 sets of these. They are great. I love the glass lids with the silicone edge. When you burp the lid it seals the food well. I love them and I'm glad I got away from plastic. They work well going from fridge to microwave. I don't recommend placing in the freezer. I hand wash the lids, bottoms are dishwasher safe. I also like the different sizes.

I absolutely love these glass reusable containers. I’ve used them for storage of fresh foods, snacks, in lunch boxes. I’ve used them for a while and went ahead and purchased another set. I’ll be converting to this slowly as they are expensive but definitely worth the price. The lids are durable, even little flap that seals it. I thought it would break off but nope still great. The thickness and quality of the glass is fabulous. The variety is ok but could be better. I wish I could order just certain sizes and not others. I guess it all depends on family usage, single, or couples which sizes you end up using more or less of. Overall I’m extremely satisfied with quality and my purchase. Everything is packaged well in their box.

60oz rectangular glass. These are heavy! I like that the tops are glass and silicone and I can see what’s inside. I wanted something a little larger but now I’m glad they’re not because I’m not sure I’d be able to lift them! Hahaha. The lids are very different in how they close but they are completely sealed. Overall I really like and I’m glad I found these. I would purchase them again.

I absolutely love these containers! Definitely worth the higher price point. The lids are fabulous! I wish they would sell individual pieces as a couple have chipped and I don’t want to buy a whole new set.

These green glass storage containers are great! They clean up nice and the lids seals airtight. The size are perfect for 1-2 people but if you have a large family or need use for a larger size I would recommend increasing the size of the containers.

I had ordered a couple of sets of the larger Urban Green glass containers previously and loved them. I've been searching and searching for similar, smaller containers and didn't realize that the small set of these, listed as 10 oz, 17 oz, and 27 oz is almost perfect for me. I took photos next to a tissue box so that you can see how small these containers are. But small is what I was looking for so I'm happy. I also set one next to an old rubbermaid so you can see that the 10 oz of this glass container is about the same capacity as an 8 oz. rectangle rubbermaid. I put a cup of liquid in each and you can tell that they both hold about the same amount. For health reasons, I'm getting rid of all the plastic in my house and find this brand to be the best quality of all the ones I've tried. Unlike others, they are stackable and the lids are dishwasher safe. I highly recommend these and wish I'd switched from plastic to glass long ago to avoid some of the health problems plastics can cause. Latest update: Some of the lids to the new containers strangely don't fit. I'm taking a photo of the two different lids but you can see that one has an inner indentation on it. Make sure that all the lids fit as soon as they arrive. For some strange reason, I now have a lid that doesn't fit the set, even though all my current sets are from Urban Green. It appears they make have changed the design or manufacturer because some of the new lids and containers do not match the older ones I purchased. This is highly irritating to have mismatched sets so I hope they will improve their quality consistency soon.

At first glance, wow, these seemed incredible. Seemingly heavy-duty, and my leftovers (sometimes including partially eaten produce, like avocado, which notoriously goes brown quickly) began to last much longer in these as compared to old plastic storage. The first chipping of one of these happened very quickly after I started using them; it came out of the dishwasher slightly dinged. I didn't think so much about where that chip of glass ended up; I was more upset that they were apparently so fragile that it would only take a couple of days of use to get damaged. A bit later, I noticed that there were a couple small chips of glass in one of the larger glass containers that I had nested a smaller one into (the smaller one had chipped). YIKES. Long-ish story short, the edges of these glass containers chip easily. The thought of glass chips ending up in my food and then in my throat or stomach is very scary. These would be AMAZING if they didn't chip so easily. Update 1 year into using these: We are very careful with these, knowing that they chip, and so far nothing bad has happened. The additional detail I came back to share is that a few months ago, I noticed that food I was storing in these was taking on the taste of our dishwasher soap. The silicone absorbs the smell/taste. We've only put the lids on the top shelf. Because the lids have glass, I'm not going to put them in the oven to get rid of the smell/taste. So, after a year of use, for the safety issue with the glass chipping so easily, paired with the dishwasher taste, I'd recommend that you pass these by. There's got to be a better solution out there... if you find it, let me know! :)
