I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect when I ordered this band. The pictures are accurate but I haven’t ever seen stingray leather or, even a stingray for that matter, and it’s one of those things you have to see, hold, and touch in person to appreciate. Also, until you try out a vendor, you’re not sure what you’ll really end up getting, especially in the Eastern markets. You can get mind blowing craftsmanship or total trash for pretty much the same amount of money so it always feels like a gamble. This gamble paid off. This is as lux as lux gets. Add a fancy box with some over the top embellished description of the band and have it covered in a silk handkerchief, and it would become a $1,400.00 watch band. That is literally the quality of this thing. After getting it I went and did some light research on stingray leather and it’s so much more, and more interesting than I expected. The shiny parts start as sort of spherical nodules that they sand down for some of the leather. They compare the toughness of them to the toughness of human teeth! Now that is some strong leather! On this band the nodules have been sanded flat and to almost a mirror shine, they really pop. This really turned what I feel is an already special watch into something even more special. The color doesn’t match perfectly but it’s close enough and I also changed the hardware that came with the Seiko band to this band. The stingray watch strap really is gorgeous, but after only a few minutes during the installation of the strap, a few pieces on one edge flaked and peeled off due to the bending movement. Once the strap is attached to the watch and fastened to your arm, it doesn't bend much, so this may not be an issue. Hopefully, this will not continue to be an issue and will last for a long time as it really does enhance the look of the timepiece. Update - I've had this strap on a few different watches now for over a month, so it gets a great deal of use daily. I've had no more issues with flaking at this time.

I have worn this for many months now and it has held its shape and there is no funky smell either. I work in a warehouse and it holds up great. I use it on my Watch6. I knew going it it would be a really snug fit mounting on the watch itself, but that was intentional on my part. I lobe that it gives a shimmer but isn't metallic nor glittery. Polished stingray is the best!

Ordered 20mm. The strap is more like 21mm, so it was super hard to install on my vintage watch without scratching the lugs. The padding is quite stiff and totally unnecessary, probably will soften up with continued wearing. I put a nicer buckle on it that I had on hand, but overall the strap is good looking, and true to the photos. Reasonably priced, and definitely worth the money.

Really a very nice strap and an excellent value for the money. The color is vivid, the finishing is excellent and it is a fantastic match for my M.A.D.2 from MB&F. Highly recommended!

This is by far one of the nicest watch bands that I have ordered. It made my vintage Omega look so good! It's a really nice watch band and it looks cool.
