Very sharp out of the box. Be careful.
Very sharp right out of the box.I can only imagine how sharp this edge could be if I put it on a sharpening stone. It comes with a good utility factory ads that would be fine as a charcuterie knife. As soon as I got it I found it useful for a lot of other things. It has a good handle size and a small enough blade to be very easy to work with around almost anything. The blade is definitely thick enough for the length and blade style. This is a useful knife to put in your kitchen or workshop. If you don't have this style of knife in your workspace, whether it be kitchen or shop, just get it. At this price $7 you won't regret it.You can have it for decades. It looks like one that would last.

One of my favs!
Bought this thing three times now. Given both the others away to friends. It's one of my all time fav outdoor, camping, woodcrafting knives. It won't split firewood nor build any cabins, but for what a KNIFE is meant, it excels! Takes and holds a razor edge and light and comfortable to use, it's a good knife! Buy some assorted sandpaper to shape the handle to your liking and some leather for a sheath and this is a good first project for a younger person or a woods newbie!

Sharp
The knife comes very sharp and is a handy size. I believe that it will be easy to sharpen although it hasn't needed it yet. This is the knife my wife most often. I bought a total of 6 of them. Good value. They are stainless and stay rust free.

Nice kitchen knife.
Sturdy, comfortable and has a decent edge to it. Perfect size for kitchen work. I’ve used it on steak and chicken and so far so good.

A very sharp, nice looking knife with quality control issues
There's not a lot to say here, but I'll go through the good, then the bad.- Surprisingly sharp out of the box. That's not a big deal, as I sharpen everything, but it came with a very usable edge.- Handsome. It's got an old school look and feel. I like it.- High gloss blade. The blade is polished and nice looking. Under light, you can see some of the machining marks, but they're glossed over nicely.- Not a full tang, but still a nice 3/4 tang which is pretty great at this price point.- Sharp edge is about 4 and 3/4 inches. Overall blade is 5 inches.Now...- The handle came with a defined crack in it near the top, right side, just under the choil (see pics).- It's a nice three rivet design, but the handle is a one-piece handle with a split to accomodate the tang. The tang ends more than an inch above the bottom rivet which means, as far as I can tell, that bottom rivet is just for show. For the price, I can't complain and I won't send it back. I was lightly disappointed, but it's hard to expect a $100 knife for $8. I'd buy it again, but if I had another handle crack in that one, I'd cease to consider it a decent value proposition.
