Perfect Rice Cooker for One or Two People
As someone who usually cooks for just myself, this rice cooker has been fantastic. The size is just right, big enough to make a few servings without ending up with a week’s worth of leftovers. It takes up very little counter space and is easy to store when not in use. Most importantly, it makes consistently great rice. The rice comes out fluffy and evenly cooked, and the one-touch controls make it incredibly simple to use. I’ve also used it for other grains and small meals with great results. If you’re single, living in an apartment, or just don’t need a giant rice cooker, this is one of the best kitchen purchases I’ve made. Great portions, reliable performance, and easy cleanup.

Great Results!
Just got this rice cooker, and I’m glad I did. So far, I’ve cooked brown rice three times and it was actually fluffy--perfect each time. There are multiple preprogrammed settings for white rice (25 min.) and brown rice (50 min.), quinoa (30 min.) and steel cut oats (25 min.). Each cooking cycle has a default cooking time, and you can adjust the cooking time in five-minute increments. It has a digital display which is nicely laid out. (There is no steamer tray included, nor steamer settings BTW.) Important point: It's a little unclear from the instructions provided what the maximum capacity of uncooked rice is. The vendor supplies a plastic measuring cup which is approximately 3/4 of a US cup. The instructions for white rice say to add 1 or 2 plastic measuring cups of white rice into the cooker and then add water up to the appropriate mark etched into the cooker pot. (This is nice as you don't have to measure out the water.) However, 2 of their plastic measuring cups equals 1 1/2 cups of uncooked rice (since each plastic measuring cup is 3/4 of a US cup). The Amazon listing says the capacity is 2 cups of uncooked rice, and I'm not sure if that means the vendor recommends you can add up to 2 US cups of dry white rice, or 1 1/2 US cups. The instructions provided are silent on this point. And by the way for brown rice the instructions refer to adding 1 or 1 1/2 of their measures of uncooked rice, which would be up to 1 1/8 US cups of uncooked brown rice. Regardless, for one or two people 1 1/2 cups of uncooked rice are quite a bit. This cooker is simple to use, small, light and compact, yields great results, and at this time is over 40% off. It's sleek and modern looking as well. I highly recommend it.

It does actually make 4 whole cups, and is so easy.
First of all I’ve only used it once since I just recently received it, but I had to leave a review specifically about the size. Before purchasing I read a lot of reviews claiming that it did not make 4 cups of rice. I’m not certain what people are doing wrong but mine made 4 cups. I made white rice using the measuring cups provided. The instructions say to fill the cup to the top for 2 cups of rice or 2 full cups for 4 cups of rice. I decided on 4. Be sure to wash your rice throughly to avoid a lot of starchy liquids boiling over. The photos I am providing are a 4 cup container nearly full to the line and would have been a full 4 cups had my husband not helped himself to a scoop. The rice turned out amazing, it was super easy, only 25 minutes. Clean up was a breeze, wipe down the unit, pop out the inside lid then wash the lid and the pot, dry and reassemble. voilà.

Nice small rice cooker
This is a good rice cooker. Small but works well, my only complaint is that some of the buttons are difficult to press.

Fantastic rice with this compact cooker!
First of all the rice comes out really well, which is the most important thing! In particular I love that I can get two good servings of brown rice that is perfectly moist, chewy and delicious in only 50 minutes, and white rice that is moist and fluffy in only 25 minutes. And cleanup is a breeze, there is very little residue on the inner lid and you don't have to scrape to get every grain of rice out of the pot. It is also very compact and fits easily in my cupboard when not in use, and I like that the cooker doesn't take a long time to cool off so you can make another batch of rice right away if you want to. (My husband likes white rice but I prefer brown, so I cook the brown first, rinse out the pot and lid and then make the white.) It is also easy to learn how to operate and is absolutely adorable! For these reasons I am giving the rice cooker 5 stars, but there is one little niggling thing that isn't ideal. As other reviewers have mentioned it is REALLY hard to see the marks inside the pot. Maybe this is because the healthier nonstick ceramic coating is very dark, and I like the coating, so maybe that is just the price we have to pay. But it is really hard to see those markings. Luckily there are two work-arounds. You can use a flashlight to shine into the pot when you are adding the water so that you can see where the line is. I know, a little bit of a hassle, but it works. You can also just use a measuring cup to add the correct amount of water. I use an actual measuring cup for the water instead of the "scoop" they give you to measure out the rice, which is only about 2/3 cup. So what I do is, I take 1 scoop of rice and rinse it really well to remove the excess starch, then drain that completely and put it in the pot. To the drained wet rice I add one "real" cup of water for brown rice or 5/8 cup water for white rice. This way I don't have to use the flashlight to see the markings in the pot.

Love it - but the durability is questionable and customer service is horrid
I love this rice cooker - it is the perfect size and easy to use; but it has not lasted. I bought it in January - so just about three months ago. I am very careful in my use and cleaning. I only use the plastic "spoon" they provide. I use a dishcloth, and then put it in the dishwasher. But, even with my careful approach, the inside is already chipping and the non-stick is compromised. There doesn't seem to be any way to order a replacement container. So I am disappointed, to say the least. I really dislike the concept of needing to buy a whole new cooker, just because the container has started to chip. *Added after working with customer service* I contacted customer service to see if I could purchase a replacement inner container. Instead of answering that question they made me go through the warranty claim process and submit photos. NOTE: I was NOT submitting a warranty claim. I was just trying to find out if I could BUY a replacement container. As I told the agent - I have never worked so hard to try and spend my money on someone's product. Instead I was told the chipping was "normal" and because of the fact it was a ceramic coating, there was no risk to me or potential heath hazard because as they said: "Chipping up to 1 to 2 mm is a perfectly normal occurrence because Ceramic coatings are very hard – i.e. in the same way as Porcelain Ceramics are hard but not very flexible. Secondly, unlike with PTFE coatings, Thermolon does not require any chemical adhesive primer to stick to the pan. Thermolon’s adhesion relies solely on roughening the pan’s surface before the coating is applied, which creates a natural lock and key adhesion. Any imperfections, such as chipping, are considered a reflection of the hardness of Ceramic coatings and not having to rely on chemicals for adhesion. As the product remains perfectly safe for use if it chips, it does not require a replacement. In fact, the hardness of the coating is one of its strengths because it will be less prone to scratching during daily use. The great thing is that our products do not contain any PTFE or other PFAS, and they are free of Lead and Cadmium." I pointed out I was in manufacturing myself and I knew spin when I saw it, and once again asked if I could purchase a replacement container. Only after asking the same question in three emails did the company finally say, no they did not sell replacement parts. If the company can't answer a straightforward question or stand behind their products by offering replacement parts, then don't waste your money with that Company. I wish I had know all this before I bought the product. So, I am writing a long review to help others make a truly informed decision.

Small but effective!
I recently had to get rid of my old $20 basic rice cooking pot. I had it for years, and decided when it died to at least double my budget on a new one. this one fit the bill perfectly. Its small, clean aesthetic, and easy to use. Its just me and my girlfriend using it, we dont ever fill it all the way and it makes enough rice for the two of us and sometimes leftovers too. Lovely rice cooker. easy buttons for white rice, brown rice, Quinoa, and steel cut oat? Ive only ever used the rice function but it is flawless, makes good proper rice, and keeps it warm as long as you need to before serving. Its very easy to clean, the little pot is non-stick ceramic and removes easily for cleaning. The lid that actually covers the rice pops out of the frame for easy cleaning as well. Overall well worth the price, not really super expensive, but feels way nicer (and functions way nicer) than the crappy basic $20 pots. If you are like me, you only felt you needed the basics, and dont want a $100+ rice cooker, this is a nice happy medium for 2-4ish people. Compact, effective, not super expensive, and makes up to 4 cups of rice (which we maybe make 1 cup per person on average) You wont regret the purchase.

Fantastic little rice cooker
I had been wanting a rice cooker, as something always messes up when I cook it on the stove. I also wanted something a bit more fancier than a basic rice cooker, but also something small, as I only cook for myself and have limited counter space. After browsing, I decided on this one, because it was on sale, and I found the design really cute. I love this rice cooker. The size is perfect, and doesn’t take up too much counter space. The directions are easy to follow and it cooks the rice perfectly every time (I’ve been using jasmine rice). The rice is so fluffy and moist, and doesn’t stick to the pot, so you can get all the rice. Cleaning is also super easy thanks to the nonstick pot. I haven’t had a chance yet to see how it cooks quinoa, brown rice, or oatmeal yet, as I’ve got an 11 pound bag of jasmine rice to get through, but I will certainly update my review when I get the chance. But all in all, I’m very happy with this rice cooker, and would definitely recommend. UPDATE (6/10/25): It cooks brown rice to perfection as well, though be forewarned, it does take about an hour for it to cook.

best rice cooker for 1-3 people
This is the most adorable and functional rice cooker i've ever bought! I love how it's pink and matches perfectly with my pink dinnerware. I've only used the rice cookng function so far and it's made perfect rice for me every time without fail. The rice cooker is also very easy to clean overall. It is also pretty compact and makes enough rice for 1 - 3 people. I highly recommend this rice cooker if you don't have a lot of counter space and want something more fun than a typical rice cooker!
