Terrible instructions, but otherwise easy to put together
EDITED: It dawned on me last night that I could simply have used marine glue and glued on colorful "gems" from the Dollar Store, or even pennies, which would have been the right size to cover the holes in the top of the connectors. If I order another one, that's what I will do.I haven't actually used the stand yet, but it does appear sturdy. I gave it only 4 stars because of the terrible instructions. I did watch another customer's video about putting it together, which said it took two hours, so I was resigned (as a very unhandy person) to spending a whole afternoon putting it together, but happily, it only took 22 minutes. Once I figured out the configuration of how the connectors were supposed to go, and kept that firmly in mind with each rod I attached a connector to, it was pretty easy. I plan to use it outdoors, but noticed when I finished putting it together, that each connector had a hole in the top, supposedly to add more rods. This will be a problem during the very wet winters in my area. A friend suggested putting spray foam insulation in the holes, and then painting the insulation to match, so that is my plan. The manufacturer should have included little snap-in caps to take care of that problem. Also, other reviewers said a pair of gloves was included, and to be sure to wear them, otherwise your hands would get black. No gloves were included in my order, but nothing rubbed off on my hands, so perhaps the manufacturer has fixed that problem. And finally, there were a few extra parts left over, I guess in case somehow I ruined something in the construction phase.

Nice shelf but terrible instructions
The instructions for assembly are useless. No parts are labeled, the diagrams aren't specific. It took over 2 hours to figure out which direction each piece fit into the other. The finished product turned out nicely, but again, instructions were awful.
