I’ve bought no less than 7 boxes of these Writech blue gel pens. That’s 70 pens. And not a single one has disappointed. They write unbelievably smooth. Never cut off. Never leak. Not even once. The 0.7mm tip is perfect for me. Not too thick. Not too thin. Just the right width to make your writing look clean and sharp without feeling like you’re dragging ink across the page. These pens just glide. No skips. You pick it up and it’s ready to write. That’s not common with gel pens. Most brands struggle with that. People who know gel pens know it’s not just about the ink color. It’s about the formula. Gel ink is pigment suspended in water-based gel, not oil like ballpoints. That’s why the colors pop more. But it’s also why it’s tricky to get it right. If it’s too wet, it smears. Too dry, it skips. Writech got the balance right. Ink dries fast. Doesn’t bleed through paper. No smudging even if you’re left-handed. The build is solid too. Retractable, clean design, transparent barrel so you can see your ink level. The clip also works as the clicker, which is a clever design. But fair warning for people who treat their pens roughly. That clip can snap off. Never happened to me because I’m careful with mine. But I’ve given pens to colleagues and a couple of them had the clip break. It’s not a flaw really. Just don’t mess with it too much. At this price point, I honestly don’t know of a better pen. I write a lot. Notes, forms, doodles, I’ve tried dozens of brands. These are the ones I keep coming back to.
