Why doesn’t this item come with batteries

The tool is an addon tool for Kobalts line of battery operated tools. This item on amazon does not include batteries as stated per the listing. Most major brands sell the tools separate to give the consumers options on which tools they want. Once you purchase a battery you have access to multiple different tools in the Kobalt 24 volt line.

Will this model work with the kobalt high output (XTR) batteries?

Long as it says 24v it will work

Does this still have the kobalt 5 year warranty?

If you purchase it from our company we honor all manufacturers warranty.

Is this new in the box?

Yes the one I received was. I can’t say that all of them would but I would guess they are all brand new.
