I got this cup holder to use at my desk in my home office. It works great. It is very strong, sturdy, and durable. It clips right on to my desk without any assembly necessary. It has a large opening for holding drinks. I also use it to hold my cup holder with my diamond art supplies in it. It is very handy and convenient to have.

I was immediately struck when I saw this, by that "why didn't I think of that" feeling. And i continue to feel that way by and large, this is a great idea. The product itself though, falls short in some ways. Not in any ways that don't make me glad to have it, but in ways that make me look forward to a revision. The spring needs to be stronger. By definition you're entrusting this to a liquid, and most likely on a surface with electronics in the immediate vicinity. I want a vice grip. This certainly isn't. It could also stand to be a little deeper as a cup holder, and it could also stand to mount a little deeper onto the desk aka a longer clamp bit.Keep at it, I like this thing a lot, but with those changes I would LOVE it, and so would a lot of other people I think!

It sometimes works. If you have a spot to clip it to that you can be sure won’t stick out and get in the way you’re golden as long as the drink isn’t too heavy. Otherwise it’s rather easy to knock right off your table if you’re not careful or forget it’s there. At which point your drink is going with it too. It definitely has a weight limit too. It’s a great idea and can work but you have to be careful.

This clip-on cup holder is exactly what I’ve been looking for. You can clip it on any service that’s up to approximately 2 inches thick. I worried that the spring would be too tight and would make the clip hard to open, but that’s not the case at all. There’s a little resistance, of course, but the clip is easy to open. Once you open it and clip it on the edge of a desk or table, it holds securely. It doesn’t bend, sag, or move when you add a cup to the holder. I use it on my desk to hold my drink and give me a little more space.I’ve used cup holders in the past. What I like about this one is there is an opening at the bottom of the cup holder to let condensation escape. That way, there isn’t moisture in the bottom of the cup holder or on the bottom of your drink. There’s also an opening for the handle of a coffee cup or mug. It’s a large enough opening to accommodate larger and thicker handles too. The cup holder itself will hold soda cans and regular sized drinking glasses, mugs, and coffee cups comfortably. However, extra large cups, mugs, and water bottles probably won’t fit.Overall, I’m extremely happy with this clip-on cup holder, and I highly recommend it.

My desk is about 1/3 inch thick and it fits perfectly but is adjustable so it will likely work for your desk too.This is definitely a cool product and I appreciate that it's giving me more space where I need it most! This cup holder clip is a clever and practical solution for anyone who's ever knocked over a drink on their desk. However often I find it little fimsy and it doesn't have very good grip on table. overall solves the purpose but I think built might have been little more sturdy and premium.
