This neck cooler has great features: it blows up on the sides AND back (be careful, some do not blow UP on the back), it blows down the back of your shirt (again, not a common feature) it has 3 levels of active cooling using a small semiconductor device (not a new technology, similar devices have been used in food/drink coolers (think picnics, "camping"), it has three fan speeds, it does not feel heavy on my neck. BUT: For my purpose the noise level is too high. If you are in a stadium attending an event with a raucous crowd this would be great, if you are working outdoors--again great. Harvesting wheat--great. If you are in a small group gathering--a bit too loud for my taste. I highly recommend this cooling device, or not. I'll be returning it but I don't expect I'll find what I want, especially at this price point.

This is my second cordless neck fan, and I find it to be really useful. When I'm feeling overheated, I just slip this on and relax, closing my eyes because the air tends to dry out my contact lenses. After awhile, I suddenly feel cool and I'm ready to take it off. My wife likes it OK, but says it's not comfortable. My 90-year-old mother in law doesn't like it at all. I like it quite a bit, but only for limited time. If I go to sleep in my chair with it blowing, I will wake up when I've had enough. No complaint--it's just the nature of neck fans, I think. It is a good value, and has definitely earned a place in my arsenal of "keep cool" weapons here in the hot-and-humid south.

I love it! It is comfortable to wear, lightweight and has different speed settings. Overall, I was impressed with the technology and the price.
