Is the resistance going to be too much compared to other aquatic exercise equipment?

Resistance is relative to the size of the piece and the speed at which it is moved through the water. Moving any piece slowly will generate a lower level of resistance. Stronger individuals can continue to increase speed and resulting resistance.

I move at slow speeds but want to still have good resistance.

Using the large side of the Bells will provide the most resistance at any given speed.

I saw you also sell Aqualogix & Aquastrength Bells. How do they compare to these?

The Hydro Tone HYDRO-BELLS are capable of generating the highest level of overall resistance, especially in linear movement patterns. They are larger than our other bells so if space is an issue the slightly smaller Aqualogix Blue Bells work well.

I'm still not sure between the various aquatic bell options.

The HYDRO-BELLS are capable of being used as either medium or maximum resistance bells. If you like to work at high tempo (HIIT style), the Medium Aqualogix Bells are great choice. Many customers have multiple sets to use depending on the workout.

Are the Bells removeable on the Hydro Tone Barbell?

Yes! The bells that are used with the barbell are able to be removed from the barbell by using the quick-release buttons. You can use the individual bells or connect them to the barbell.

Great workout gear for the pool. No stress on your joints

This is a great set of tools to use to increase your workouts in the pool. It will increase your cardio as well as build muscle. My healthclub uses them for a special weight training class so I purchased them to do workouts in my own pool. Much better than the foam ones most water aerobic classes use.

Fun in the sun/pool

Fun in the sun/pool. Bought this set last summer and have enjoyed using it once a week for a nice water workout. Usually have it out while my kids are playing and get a decent workout in. Get your in time for some summer fun!
