110% the real deal! Any true licorice fan would recognize the flavor and texture immediately! I'm really surprised how many people I saw in the comments who don't know that this is what the iconic licorice is, was, and has always been. Do not buy this crap it is 100% hard as a rock I mean, maybe you could make a craft project out of it building a house or as a tomato cages but it’s definitely not for human consumption

Inconsistent/Watered Down Flavor
The blue raspberry one seems like the flavoring wasn't mixed evenly throughout or something. You get an initial taste of the flavor—though it's still oddly watered down/weak—and then it gets weaker as you chew.My impression of the flavor itself is that it tastes kind of like a blue raspberry Slurpee/Icee/slushie, but AFTER you've already drank most of it, left it untouched for like an hour, and then come back to it when it's all melted—that super watered down flavor.The licorice itself is also a bit too hard for my liking.
