BIKINI SAFE
Okay this is my first time ever using a safety razor and I was scared until I tried it. I couldnโt find any good reviews before I bought it about pubic hair so Iโll be the review I want to see. I just used the razor for the first time and I used it EVERYWHERE. Not a single nick. I shaved my upper lip, armpits, legs, and female pubic hair INCLUDING lips! I had to often rinse it and a little hair got trapped but just unscrew it, rinse, and resume. Great shave! No cuts or hair pulling and my skin feels so smooth. (The pic of my leg was after shaving. It wasnโt like a razor commercial where I shaved nothing I just didnโt take pics mid shower.) I highly recommend this razor!

I had questions but it is a very good razor
I have a number of double-edged razors, some are vintage Gillette razors. I had purchased this razor because it covered the outside edges of the blade which can dig into your skin when shaving in tight corners. When I received it, the razor blade fit tightly and flexed as I fit it into the top cover. This did not make a good impression on me. But after using it I am convinced that the flex in the blade when tightened into the head allows it to shave efficiently. I am not sure of the physics, but it works well. The size of the head is awkward and requires a bit of finesse in trimming around nose and corners of the mouth.I found the comb on one side very useful. Long hairs do not clog it as quickly. It would be especially useful for a person with a beard or mustache. It works well on my sideburns. The only problem is taking the blade out of the head. The flex in the blade makes it difficult to remove. I like to remove the blade after shaving but I find it easier to leave the blade in due to this between shaves. I remove it once I am ready to replace the blade. This is the reason I gave it a 4 star rating rather than a 5 star rating.

Foolproof but very different from disposable razors
I fumbled around quite a bit at first trying to figure out how to assemble it, but less than a minute later, I was shaving. Inserting the blade is pretty much foolproof due to the cut opening in the center of each. A few things surprised me since I am accustom to shaving with disposable razors. First, the razor head does not pivot. It is in a fixed position, so you do need to be careful going around any curves. Second, the blades are very thin and flexible. I was expecting something like the blades you buy to put in a utility knife. Each blade is wrapped in paper inside a small envelope and there are 5 blades in each small box. Overall, I'm impressed. These should last me a while, give me a sufficient shave and are much better for the environment.

Extremely Dangerous Simply Loading/Unloading Blade Due To Poor Fit
Assembly as part of loading the blade is dangerous enough on it's own. What makes this extremely dangerous is that the razor is poorly manufactured resulting in a poorly fit blade. The blade simply can't be properly installed without forcing it into place. You should be able to drop the blade in and drop it out when unloading. The closest I could get without forcing it with my fingers was dropping the head to dislodge the blade.I included my old razor for reference.I tried the included blades in both. The printed blade is one from my old shaver. The blank one is one of the blades included with the new razor. Both blades were easily dropped into place in my old razor. Both blades had to be forced into place in this new one.Nothing about this razor should qualify it as a "safety razor".Years ago when I started shaving my head I looked for a safety razor due to clogging a disposable razor of any type when shaving anything more than stubble. I could find the blades in the local big box stores but not the device itself. Finally, by chance, in an antique store with a friend, I spotted 2. I think I paid about $8 each. That was about 25 years ago. I bought both and they were great.BUT.........Safety razors are not something to get in a hurry with. They do provide a remarkable shave but it takes time. Otherwise? Cuts.I eventually gave one of mine to my son and he loves it. I, myself, stopped using mine as I eventually found an electric razor that was fast and easy and even shaved close enough to LOOK shaved. Actually FEELING clean shaved simply took a 3-blade disposable after the electric.I don't like tedious. A good safety razor is tedious especially when I have no hair loss.I have absolutely nothing good to say about this razor.Terrible product. Absolutely no value.

Sturdy and delivers a good shave
I am new to using safety razors though my husband recommended them to me. I found this razor to be nice and sturdy. I fumbled around a bit installing the razor and trying to get the screw lined up with all of the parts. I think that I dropped it once but it probably is the nature of the razor type and not this particular razor. Using the razor was pretty easy. I had to find the correct angle or else it would not cut. I did not get any nicks or razor burn not even in curvy areas like my under arm. I think the only room for improvement in this razor at this price point would be better instructions like what is the difference between the two sides of the razor? And also the brand name I find a tad off putting. Otherwise this is a good low end or entry safety razor!

a close shave
This is my first safety razor, and it's certainly lived up to its reputation! I've been using disposable razors my whole life, so i made sure to watch videos and learn how to use this as I know it's super sharp. The package came with 2 boxes of razors, 10 total, i can see it lasting for a while if you keep it in tip top shape.Using the shaver, it feels nice and premium in my hand. It's such a close shave compared to my disposable. I find myself just touching my skin to feel how smooth it is.A very nice razor and good alternative to disposables. you just have to be super careful using it and go with slow short strokes.
