Carlisle Turf Saver II Lawn & Garden Tire - 15X6-6 A

Great tire. Best product for the price if you know how to install and inflate. Only 1 way to inflate a warped tire caused by shipping. Use carb cleaner to ignite the tire bead. Place tire with rim installed flat on ground. Connect air supply leave running. Spray the bead of tire/rim with carb cleaner then ignite slap the tire to shift making sure to keep hand clear incase hot gas escaped. If it fails to inflate then flip it on the back side and repeat. Usually it works every time on the second ignition. Make sure not to let it burn more than 10 second at a time. Follow standard fire safety procedures.

Mounted this at home without a machine. It was tricky and took two men and a ratchet strap to get it to hold pressure. Once I got air in it, I had no issues.

Tire is great. Reviews we read sounded like it was going to be a chore. But my husband had worked with tires for years. He was able to get the old tires off by cutting the bead with a bolt cutters. He put a motorcycle tube in one that was collapsed, inflated it for a few days which expanded the tire enabling the it to be installed. Mounting the tires was fairly simple using vice grips to help work the tire into the bead with a tire iron, soap and water.

Seem okay but brand new they have less traction than the original Carlisle turf tires. The only visible difference is the "hollow" tread lugs vs the solid tread lugs on the originals. The new "hollow" lugs get far less traction on pavement. Otherwise they're fine.

These are the OEM tires on our John Deere Mower. They get the job done, and last us on average around 200-250 hours or so. Would I prefer to use 4-ply, sure would but love how easy these 2-ply are to mount and the price is rite. Just wish Amazon would start shipping these in a box.

I put theses tires on a 25 year old John Deere LX172. The original tires were the same rounded edge tread design, which turned out to be very hard to find. These Carlisle tires are nearly exactly the same design and despite being the same stated size they are slightly narrower then the originals, but are the same diameter. I messed up my order and had to order 1 tire at a time. Both came only slightly squished at the bead, but spread out easily and were easily seated on rim. The mounting was another matter being very difficult for this very experienced tire changer but that was somewhat anticipated. The smaller the diameter of the wheel the harder the mounting process. Now for some mowing without having to air up tires every time beforehand

Shows with a rim? Doesn't come with a rim. No box and it's all warped and scratch! Looks like a triangle!!

Ordered 2 but only received 1 . Supposed to be getting refund on master card though . The one works great tho.
