Pros: comprehensive kit. Everything we needed was included! My daughter was very happy with it and loved the color too. Cleaning the flute was easy with this kit. Everything fit great in the flute. Great kit for the money! Not really any cons I can tell from using this a bit now.

This a a very nice flute cleaning kit. I purchased it for my Irish whistles. And for anyone else thinking along the same lines, the 2 fluffy ID cleaners will not fit into a 'D' whistle. The slotted stick with the fabric patch will do the job though.

I loved this kit and for the most part still do, but one essential piece of equipment has been rendered relatively useless. The weighted rope and cloth was amazing for removing moisture from the body of my flute without having to remove the footjoint. When it became necessary to clean the cloth, I checked for an opening to remove the weight and there was none. I wrongly assumed the weight was something metal and threw it in the washer with my laundry. When I pulled it out, the weight was missing. I checked the washer itself. I checked all the clothes that were with it. I checked filters. It just wasn’t there anymore. I don’t know what it was made of, but it seems to have dissolved. Now threading it through even the footjoint is a pain but trying to thread it through the body can be downright dangerous trying to hold onto the flute, the cloth and the string to keep it from sliding back out.
