Arrived quickly. I assembled it today, which was pretty straightforward and easy. Even came with a screwdriver so not additional tools required. Instructions were clear enough. Did take me about an hour - hour and a half to unpackage, sort, and put together by myself. I wasn’t rushing by any means. lol It seems pretty sturdy once all put together. Nice and hefty too. Plastic parts aren’t best quality but they should last a good while. I lugged it outside after assembling and put it up on a couple of blocks in my chicken run. Dumped a 50lb bag of mini pellets in it. Grabbed another bag, and dumped that too. Fit 100 lbs of feed easily. I have it in a covered run so I don’t really have issues or concerns with rain, but it appears to be built in a way it would protect from rain. Chickens have been sniffing it out, we’ll see how they like it in a couple of days. I’m happy and hopeful this will make my daily chores a bit easier and tidier, with no dirt kicked all in their feeders. A little pricey but seems worth it, making my life easier . Should be able to wipe it down as needed or hose it out it gets gunky. Will see how this holds up over the next month or so and then I plan to order another!

Works well but it took an hour to put together

Packaged well. Needs assembly but is very easy to do.. It even comes with the necessary tools to assemble. The feeder holds more then a big bag of feed. It appears weak during assembly, but after it is put together, it is very strong and stable. NO MESS and NO WASTE. Loving it. Very satisfied customer. Great value for us. The chickens like looking at their reflections in the shiny surface.

Like: this is the most complete, well packed, easy to assemble product I have purchased in a long time. I chose this one because.of the tilted floor that helps all food get eaten. It came in a box.'knock down' with lots of Styrofoam sheets, keeping everything in place and quiet, no rattles! It unpacked without problem. It has everything you need from screw driver to extra screws and washers, even gloves so you dont cut your hands. The directions are not complicated and easy. Bad: the only neg thing was the white feeder parts. The directions say to put on first. I don't think that is good because you need to have room to work. It was not a problem putting them on last. Helpful hint: Remember the floor is tilted so you will need to force it into shape when you. Really not hard or difficult, I always get nervous when I have to push on something to get it to fit but once I did, I realized 'all was good'. This product was well thought out. Lesson learned. I mixed their favorite, rolled oats because of the cold temp into the feed so they wouldn't eat just the oats. Well, they caught on to that, and are throwing grain food onto the ground, eating only the oats.

This feeder is great. Putting it together was easy but metal edges were sharp. I purchased it because I can fill it up and it feeds the hens about 4 days before I need to refill it. It also helps prevent wild birds from eating out of it.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I picked this feeder for the volume in hopes that I could add enough feed to last two weeks. Functionality: It seems to work well but was advertised to "avoid waste" but is no better than other feeders Feed capacity: I like that I can drop 100# of feed in it Here's the only concern - this is my third similar-type feeder. The assembly directions are terrible, I can only assume some poor and incomplete interpretation from Chinese. After 45 minutes of assembly I was sure I'd have to return it as the holes were drilled in the wrong locations. However, the critical thing to remember is nothing is square in this feeder. Don't try to make right angles. The other very confusing thing is that the lid and body are angled, likely for rain runoff which is good. By why are they angled toward the feeding ports? Doesn't angling so water drains away from the food make more sense? It is good that the bottom try is angled toward the food ports, but the "roof" should be angled away. I'll see how it works, but the assembly instructions were garbage. It isn't intuitive, but don't try to line things up as everything is angled.

Does NOT prevent food waste. Chickens empty all the feed onto the ground outside. The tube that goes through the wall is styled differently and shorter than another major brand (whose smaller feeder I own and never spills). Wanted a larger capacity and the body on this looked nice. HUGE mistake! I’m going to try the DIY red feeder tubes for the red brand and see if I can salvage it. Otherwise, buying a new one from them instead, what a waste of money. I hate giving bad reviews and rarely do, but the whole point of this feeder is to save feed waste. 13 chickens, 50# sack all over the run in a few days and an empty feeder.

Works amazing! This was a fantastic buy! We will be purchasing another when our flock grows in size
