These ankle sleeves are amazing. The product is very well made. They are so comfortable, with much more padding than a competitor that I tried. The sleeves stay cooler longer than the competitor and have a nice amount of compression. I have injuries in both ankles (left - fractured - now post op; right - severe sprain) so having sets of 2 on hand with back ups is very helpful to keep icing the day away. I color coded the bear on the freezer bags they come in so I can keep track of which ones have been frozen longest. The sleeves were able to fit inside both CAM boots (Breg & DeRoyal), which was an added convenience. TheraICE has fantastic customer service if you need to reach out for any reason. I ordered the wrong size and they were able to help me fix my mistake very easily. Highly recommend the product and company!

As a long time basketball player I have almost 40 years of sprained ankles. It doesn't happen often but I have experienced it many times over the years and it's never fun. This theraICE ankle wrap makes it much more bearable. This wrap fits like a sock. It is very heavy and adds the right amount of compression without being difficult to put on. Very stretchy and comfortable to wear and it ices the spots that need it most. I have found the gel stays really cold for about 20-30 minutes which is perfect for an icing session. Gets cold again quickly in the freezer as well. My son also used this for a sprained ankle suffered in HS basketball and immediately said it was better than any of the old gel packs or ice bags we have used. Any athletes or parents of athletes should consider this to have in case of an injury. It also feels great just icing sore ankles from long days on your feet. The combo of pressure, heavy weight, and the cold gel is just perfect IMHO. Great product. I'm very happy with this purchase and have already suggested it to some other parents.

I’ve been dealing with some ankle pain after long days on my feet and this thing has been a game changer. I was using bags of frozen peas before this which was messy and annoying, so having something actually designed for the purpose makes a huge difference. The wrap fits snugly around my ankle and provides just enough compression without cutting off circulation or feeling uncomfortable. I can actually walk around the house while wearing it if I need to which is nice. The ice pack itself stays cold for a good amount of time, I’d say around 20-25 minutes before it starts warming up noticeably. I usually throw it back in the freezer and its ready to go again within a couple hours. Build quality seems solid, I’ve had it for a few weeks now and use it almost daily and theres no signs of wear or leaking. The velcro straps are still holding strong and the gel inside hasn’t shifted or bunched up at all. What I really appreciate is how it conforms to the shape of your ankle. Ice packs that are too rigid never really make good contact with the areas that actually hurt, but this one molds around the joint nicely so your getting cold therapy where you need it. I keep it in my freezer and use it after work or after doing yard work and its become part of my routine at this point. If you have ankle issues, plantar fasciitis, or just sore feet in general I’d say this is worth picking up. Way better than DIY solutions and the price is reasonable for something you’ll use over and over.

I have terrible feet! I have a passion for running that my feet do not share with me. I have no arches and little muscle strength in my feet (although I am working on that). I have battled plantar fasciitis for many years. Typically my post run treatment consisted of rolling a frozen water bottle on my arches to reduce inflammation. However, just recently I started to develop foot pain on the top of my foot near the ankle. I tried ice packs and I could never get the pack in a good position. Then I saw these sleeves. They have made a world of difference. Made of a neoprene like material and soaked in a gel, these sleeves provide intense cold therapy from my lower calf to my toes. They come in sizes, so check the sizing chart. I have a men's size 12 foot so I chose large. I followed the instructions and placed the sleeves in the freezer for several hours. The first time I slid them on, they fit the contour of my foot. Instantly I could feel the intense cold from the gel. Initially, I thought it was too intense, but I left them on, and I am glad I did. After about 25 minutes my feet felt great. Foot pain has been reduced by 90% (this is my estimate). I bought two of them so I could treat both feet equally. The sleeves do not seem to have a noticeable odor, but then again I don't usually notice those things. While there is a gel inside the sleeve, it does not leak out at all. After using these sleeves 3x per day over the last three days I wish I had found them sooner. They are a great value for the healing they provide.

This is a great ice pack wrap. I bought this one because it seemed to slip on my feet a lot easier than my current ice wrap. It slips on and off with no effort. It feels very soft and comfortable. It does get cold fairly quickly in the freezer and it stays cold for about 20 minutes which is perfect for an icing session. The heating stays hot for around 15 minutes or so, I wish it retained heat a little better but it still works. My only issue is that the ankle side is a lot longer than the feet side. I tried to reverse it and it was difficult to get off and I heard a stitch rip while trying to take it off. That’s why I gave it 4 stars. I recommend this product if you have issues with your feet, It does help with inflammation and helps you get back on your feet.

I did order up a size because of some of the reviews and the fact that my ankle and foot are swollen. I wasn’t interested in fighting to get the sleeve on — it fits my swollen 8.5/9 Women’s size foot with the Large very well. I will be buying another one so I can swap them out easily and have one in the freezer waiting. It was very easy and didn’t cause any discomfort when I slid it on my ankle and foot. Huge relief!! The compression is not super tight but enough that it made a big difference in the swelling! I put it on before bed and it was helpful enough that I fell asleep with it on. The cold was great and it really helped! I woke up in the morning and slid it off while praying under my breath that I didn’t accidentally cause my foot to fall asleep or something else. I was in shock when I saw the swelling had gone down so much that I could see the bones in my foot for the first time in 6 months (since the fall and surgery)! It was completely comfortable and stayed in place for the night. It works so well that I will be buying another one so I have a backup for when I need extended periods of cold compression to help with the pain. I bought a programmable ice sleeve that recirculates cold water around the ankle boot. I like that machine but it was expensive and not as effective as this! Do not hesitate to get it - just be sure to order up from your regular size especially if you are looking to get swelling down. It took me 6 months and this to finally see the bones in my foot again!! 12 hours after taking it off I am back to a swollen ankle and foot that you can not see any bones in and my foot won’t fit into anything except the surgical boot.

This is a great ankle ice pack. I have other TheraICE wraps--one for my knee and one for the hand--which I like except they do not stay cool for very long. This one is much better. It starts out so cold that i have to wear a sock and stays cool for maybe an hour (though, of course not as cool as when it was taken from the freezer). I have four TheraICE products now and they all work very well.

This fits so perfect and works so much better than any other ice pack or anything that I have tried. It is comfortable to wear which helps a lot as I use it for after surgery icing. Shattered heel 10 surgery sites so most ice packs hurt to wear as they apply pressure or are hard. This one being a gel that does not freeze but gets cold in a sleeve contours your ankle and fits well according to shoe size. I would definitely recommend this to everyone! I plan to get more!

This works fairly well but I did find it went from quite cold to warm fairly quickly. I intend to trial it on my elbow next and see how that effective it is as I think it will work better than on my ankle. It’s not faulty at all and this is how many ice packs end up. It is beneficial in that it covers the full area of the joint but I personally need it to stay cold for longer.
