get your steps in without having to worry about slipping
like most of the country we have been in a deep freeze for about a week. light snow fell for two days, and since that time the thermometer has only made it to 32 for a few hours. walking in the snow was fine until a couple days ago when we had freezing rain and then freezing fogโฆwhen taking the garbage out proved a harrowing experience, I felt it was a good time to pull out the yaktrax. even though the windchill is 2 the dogs and I have been dying to get out and walk. I returned several โcopy catโ products before stepping up to the yaktrax. even though I may only wear them a couple of days a year, I could tell many would break because of poor construction or inferior materials, others where just too small for work boots. I bought a pair of XXL yaktrax to fit over my size 13, 8โ insulated boots and they fit perfectly, moreover, they worked to perfection. they allowed me to go places I would never consider and had zero concern - as sure footed as a yak (I suppose). we live on a bay off a huge lake that had frozen overโฆeven out there my traction was excellent and I had a good walk with the dogsโฆ I also like how easy they are to put on and take off. I used to wear an old pair of metal spiked, golf shoes when it got coldโฆbut those arenโt insulated and itโs real easy to end up with wet feet. Nor do I want to spend several hundred dollars on a special boot. this way I can wear whatever I want to and be assured of traction. I do recommend sizing up one size if you are going over hiking or work boots. the construction of yaktrax is simple but robust. I think the rubber is strong and isnโt going to snap in a year like some I looked at. lastly, yaktrax arenโt going to impair your traction on a clean surface either and thatโs what has sold me on them. I highly recommend these for anyone who likes to get out irrespective of what mother nature throws at you.

Helps make winter weather tolerable
These are great!!!! Little tough to get on but I keep them on an old pair of shoes so always ready to go. May need to go up a size depending on type of shoe/boot you want to put them on. Pair I originally bought for my hubby were to small for his boot so kept them for my boots and got him the next size up and they worked perfectly. They stay in place and we can move about in the bad weather with ease.

Excellent but they brake sooner than expected
I think this is so far the very best , the issue that it gets rusty all the metal parts right away and then they brake , but while they are fine are the very best ever

"Essential Winter Gear for Safety & Confidence!"
The Yaktrax Diamond Grip has been a game-changer for me this winter! Living in a place with unpredictable weather and frequent icy conditions, I was constantly worried about slipping when walking outside. These traction devices have made a huge difference, providing solid grip on everything from ice and snow to slushy, wet terrain. What I love most about the Yaktrax Diamond Grip is the full-foot coverage, which gives me complete stability and confidence with every step. The diamond beads on the surface work wonders at grabbing onto icy patches, and I feel much safer walking in conditions that would normally make me nervous. They're super easy to slip on and off, and the fit is snug without being restrictive, making them ideal for walking, running, or even hiking on slick surfaces. Theyโre also surprisingly lightweight and donโt add much bulk to your shoes, which is a nice bonus. The rubber construction is durable, and I can tell these will last for many winters to come. Plus, the traction works on a variety of surfaces, including snow, ice, and even wet pavementโso Iโve found them useful no matter the conditions. I highly recommend the Yaktrax Diamond Grip for anyone who wants to stay safe and confident while

Super great for Ice or if you need extra traction on your shoes/boots.
These are amazing. Throw these on my snow boots if there is any possibility of ice. They bite in well on random sheets of ice. Easy to get on and off. Stay in place. These are living in my Jeep right now.

Fantastic Traction!!! Safety for Ice!
Bought this item to use when it's icy, after falling in a parking lot in 2024. Didn't need it until the ice storm, January 2026. Super easy to put on and take off. Slipped it on boots and shoes, and they provided fantastic traction in the extremely icy conditions. Didn't slip a single time outside having to do work in these horribly icy conditions. I cannot recommend them highly enough. I got the diamond trax for me and a set of the regular ones for my wife.

Get a grip, dont slip, save a hip!
Exactly as described "Dimond Grippers" they are not huge nubs, but enough for typical grip protection to keep you from slipping and falling. If you do serious hiking and need BIG grip these aren't "big". All it takes is that one spot of Black Ice to get you so, I purchased these grippers. I've had these Diamond Grippers a couple years- during winters and use them for typical walking on a sloped road and icy -driveway and they have worked well. After some usage the cable that holds them together can break or the nubs will wear down, so I've gone through a couple pairs of these, but no regrets. Actually there are a LOT of similar Nub grippers like this on the market to choose from. Id rather be safe on cold freezing icy times than take that hit from a fall.. Stay safe... dont unexpectedly slip...its not worth it.

Best cleats, worth the money
Got these for my husband. We both work delivery and he says that these cleats are the best he's ever gotten. I was a little skeptical when we opened them and the grips were completely round, not oval shaped like a boot, apparently that's what makes them great though. They have never slipped off and they're very durable. He did break one because he misstepped a curb, but believe me when I say that I'm amazed at how well they have stood up to the extreme pounding of the pavement that he does. He weighs over 250lbs and will throw a 120lb pkg over his shoulder and run with it, and he does this several times throughout his route. He has a heavy route and has anywhere from 180-330 stops, 6 days a week. It took a cement curb with over 350lbs of weight on it to break so, yes, I'm thoroughly impressed with these cleats. I ordered him a new pair, even though the price increased $11 because they are definitely worth the money.
