80mm Steel Mesh Filter/Grill Black

Fractal Design Node 202 SFF VR gaming system. If you use a Zotac GTX 1080 mini, you have the room to install one of these and vent out all the hot via the top of the case. It is a super strong grille, and I performed several tests and was very surprised to find that with or without the grill my temps remained the same, else I could not have used it. I just wish you sold them for 50 mm fans! (I need 2!). Thank you!!! (shown in the pic not attached as I'm still modifying my case - painting edges of the hole in the aluminum)

I needed this as a cover for an 80mm exhaust hole I cut in the desk to vent the computer compartment which was getting too hot with the door closed. The mesh on this grill is small enough to hide the hole I cut without obstructing airflow too bad. For the most unobstructed airflow I would recommend getting just a standard grill that's more open but for me this is exactly what I was looking for and works perfectly.

These are speaker covers advertised as fan grills. They work nicely as fan grills, but depending on the sort of fan you are putting it on, you'll need to bend the sides a bit to not have the fan blades catch on the guard and make a racket.On the upside, once they're in, they stay, and they don't further deform with use. The corners can break off if you are not careful, so caution tightening the screws. What would have really been nice would be if rubber washers were included to beef up the fragile corners and elevate them above the fan, but other than that, if handled with care they work as-is.

As another reviewer suggested, I bought this to use as a speaker grill for a project using a 3 inch speaker. Fits great and looks classy and professional.

This filter worked good as a backer to a modification I did to the air box cover on my VTX 1300 motorcycle. The holes were a little rough but it did end up fitting.

As advertised. Holes are about 1-1.5 mm in diameter -- It's not really a "filter", although it will probably stop larger particulates (like dust bunnies). On the other hand, generous hole size means that air flow is not unduly hindered.The steel mesh material is very rigid & sturdy.

It was working great for dust and cleanable too.
