Arrived from China well packaged and in good time from date of delivery. However, the unit is a PIR system and not what is in the description, a magnetic contact alarm. The unit is thinly moulded plastic about 100mm high, 700mm wide. The unit runs on a single 9v battery, not supplied. The unit can be disarmed easily so this unit should only be placed in an area for advisory unauthorised access within audible range of which the alarm volume is very loud and shrill.

Working overnight with only 1 or 2 other people in the building I like to know when someone enters my area. Our venders are supposed to ring the bell for service but frequently fail to do so. I love that on chime I can here this in the back room and know when someone enters. It's louder to my ears than I hear in the video and it chimes twice, then stops until it senses motion again. I just set it on the counter. The alarm setting is ear piercing and continuous.

I think its a great little unit and whether on chime or alarm its loud. I would have liked it though to be more sensitive but that is okay.

Utter waste..not working after few days...
