Very please with the quality, great appearance, arrived scary sharp. First job was to carve up a watermelon. It was so sharp its weight alone was cutting though the inside part of the melon. Next big job was carving up a 22 pound turkey, it was still sharp when done. I do have a sharpener system similar to Amazon’s “ RUIXIN PRO RX-009 Professional Knife Sharpener”. It restored the edge after a couple months of use from just sharp back to scary sharp again. It’s a pleasure to use, cutting thin slices in a tough meat like flank steak is easy, and the thinner you cut flank steak the more tender it becomes. It’s big, I did need my Sawsall to enlarge the butcher knife slot in my knife block to hold it.

Very sharp but the leather sheathe it comes with is too small! I cannot carry this knife safely with this sheathe. Look in photos to see for yourself.

There is a reason why this knife is a solid 5 stars. I purchased about 10 including dalstrong knives which are also my favorites. However, this one is still my favorite. I've never been one to notice how nice handles are, but the handle mixed with the best blade I've ever used, this takes the cake. Hands down best knife I own. Just buy it. It cuts through everything like soft butter and the handle is better than any knife I own. Plus, I think it might actually be damascus unlike all the others you can tell are lazered. Buy it, I'm buying more just because.

I bought one for my son's birthday as he cooks a lot of fresh meat and vegetables. He raved about how comfortable it is and how it cuts everything like it's warm butter. He was so impressed I decided I deserved a good knife as well. Everything he said was true. I've had it for a few months now and with a good wet stone sharpener it as performed well above expectations.

I gave this is a gift for Christmas and they love this knife! Very good quality for the price
