I am taking out some time to write this review because I think a few of us want to buy a thermal flask not just for regular use but with special objective to keep water hot in cold winters or places, especially those who travel with small kids or go for trekking. Well, in my opinion, GO FOR THIS PRODUCT!! I bought this for my upcoming trek to Himalayas and hence I did a small experiment and it's performance was exactly what I need. I filled hot water at 10 pm and kept it for 12 hours. The temperature is about 32 degrees in Kolkata now. After 12 hours when I poured the water, it was steaming hot!! I then kept the flask in refrigerator for 2 hours and it was still quite warm. I couldn't keep my finger dipped in it for more than a second, hot. I kept it in the fridge for another two hours and the water was then reasonably warm. The colour is awesome velvety black. I am loving it!!!!

The flip top inside the screw-on cap of the flask leaks all the time. Due to this, the customer has to be careful when opening the screw-on cap especially if the flask is used to store hot liquids. However, the liquid stays within the screw-on cap and does not leak outside and make a mess outside.
