SUPER7 - Transformers Optimus Prime 24 in Super Shogun Figure

There is a door on his chest. You open it to reveal the Autobots Matrix of Leadership. When I opened the toy, one of the doors was already broken. It was not on the hinges correctly and it fell right off. I have had my eye on this toy forever. When the price dropped to $116.00 with coupon, I finally pulled the trigger. When I saw the issue with the door, I tried to exchange it, but my only option was to do a return. Usually, Amazon allows exchanges. Not sure what the issue is with this item. But If I want another one, the price is now $149.00. To say that I am disappointed is an understatement.

the design and material good, just the production or QC part need take more effect for better condition ex factory. the packing new and in great shape. but the shogun is poorly treated. it's for play with child, NOT for some collector who care " any paint rubs. clean cut." perfect condition may not found.

This Super7 Super Shogun Optimus Prime Transformer feels just like the giant Shogun Warriors toys from over 40yrs ago...24 inches tall, moveable joints, firing a spring-loaded first, removeable gun, and an opening chest which contains a model of the allspark. all but 2 stickers/decals were already on the model (you can see in my pictures how the windshields aren't applied very well), and there's no instructions of where those two stickers go...i'm *guessing* you can use either one at the waist where i placed the grill (based on size/shape), but i shouldn't have to guess where things go on a toy of this cost. This is a great piece for any long-time fan, but a couple small things keep it from being perfect for me.

At 24" tall, this is a sizable action figure to add to your collection. Certainly at this price, it's not so much a kids toy as something that's designed to be collectible in the long run. The presentation is certainly not lacking in that regard with a nice clear box you can use to display your action figure, without opening it. Super7 has been bringing back a number of classic toy brand action figures so it's nice to see the Transformers included in that.

This thing is amazing! I love how it is two feet tall, the classic styling, the bright colors, and the ability to reticulate and pose the arms. I also really like the ability to fire the arm, like the old school figure it is based on. The rolling feet and the chest that opens are also really cool. This is a true throwback to the old Shogun toys from Japan and I love that they've brought it back! Mine did come with a few imperfections on the feet but I just attribute that to the manufacturing process and it adds character. Couldn't be happier with this very cool toy and I look forward to keeping it in pristine condition for display purposes!
