The Cosby Show: Season 6

Loved the show when it was on TV. I haven't watched the DVD's yet.

Show is ridiculously overpriced

I love the Cosby show. I use it as an educational tool. It's great that I can stream all episodes in one season.

Denise Huxtable is now Denise Kendall, Rudy gives the youngest-child role to her stepniece, Olivia Kendall (and realizes how good she had it in her own room), Vanessa is entering her rebelious phase, and Theo struggles with newly-diagnosed dyslexia and the misadventures of being an NYU sophomore living away from home. These combined elements make this, the sixth season of The Cosby Show just as pivotal as its predecessor. Here, we're introduced to child actress and future recording artist Raven-Symone as the deliciously cute and vivacious Olivia, as well as the emergence of Joseph C. Phillips as Lt. Martin Kendall, after a previous guest appearance as one of Sondra Huxtable-Tibbadeaux' dates. Other reviewers may have their opinions about why the Kendalls were brought into the cast. The way I see it, it wasn't my show. Besides, Martin and Olivia did bring to the show and were crucial to keeping it up to the minute as the series entered the 90's.

We love the Cosby show and although there are a couple of slow episodes, usually involving Denise, it still made us laugh. The kids are good actors especially the young little girl whose name I forget. Cliff is still funny even if we have heard some of his jokes before. Overall we found this to be a good season and already have season 7.

Die Folgen in dieser Kollektion wurden ja bereits aufgeführt. Und dass "The Bill Cosby Show" ein Klassiker unter den Sitcoms und heute noch sehenswert ist, ist sicherlich unbestritten. Zu dieser DVD-Kollektion sollte man dann nur noch hinzufügen, dass leider keine Untertitel vorhanden sind, die doch auch immer mehr bei Fernsehserien angeboten werden (z.B. "Two and a Half Men"). Ein Plus ist das recht unkomplizierte Menü (ich mag es gerade bei Serien nicht, wenn ich sehr lange auf das Startmenü oder auf Untermenüs warten muss) und die Möglichkeit (die es zum Glück bei den meisten, aber nicht bei allen Serien gibt), den Vorspann mit der Tracktaste zu überspringen. Die Vorspänne sind zwar gerade bei Bill Cosby immer sehr liebevoll gestaltet, aber sie dauern doch eine Weile, und wenn man mehrere Folgen hintereinander schaut, dann ist man doch froh über diese Option. Für Fans der kleinen Olivia: Diese ist hier nicht nur auf dem Cover abgebildet, sie taucht nun auch zum ersten Mal in der Serie auf. Gleich in der 1. Folge dieser Staffel ("Heimliche Hochzeit") bringt Denise ihren neuen Ehemann mit nach Hause und mit ihm ihre Stieftochter Olivia. Diese bereichert die Serie sehr mit ihrem Witz und Charme.

Excellent show. There is no more to say about that. Received the package before time in expected condition. Can only recommend this for everyone that is interested.
